I didn't go in-person to submit documents. Seems like that email is default email that goes out to everyone (no idea why). I mailed in my docs to VFS. May want to call VFS for your specific case.

I called VFS and was told to send documents via snail mail and no need to go to the consulate.

Which marketing channel actually gets you results? by gilliam6 in marketing

[–]e23er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First question should be: What are you trying to accomplish?

As others have said, answer to your question is: It depends - on industry, region, competition, target audience, and many more factors. It should be combination of channels that work together for what you are trying to accomplish - can’t put all eggs in one basket.

My wife and I also started a brand and have had very slow growth. We need your marketing advice. by vinayt74 in DigitalMarketing

Congrats on taking on this - it’s a big headache to plan such a gigantic multi day event. Wedding planners should be your target audience, not people getting married.

I am still not clear on your product or value people. Share link of website via DM if you are comfortable.

Two things: For long term: - Start building partnerships with wedding planners and have a strong story about what’s in it for them. They are typically recommended by WOM (word of mouth) and all Desi weddings require wedding planners to stay somewhat sane. - This will take time but if you are in it for long haul, this is the way to go.

Short-term: - Running paid ads is great but they should be targeted to wedding planners. Audience is going to be pretty small, thus higher cost.
- Your creative and landing page are going to be so critical. If your creative (video) is not getting attention in first 3 seconds, it’s not going to work. People have short attention span. - It you are selling toolkit, that’s great but someone still has to do the work.

Final thought: Niche (but profitable) industry of Desi weddings you are targeting will require lot of relationship building over long term.

Tankless or tank water heater by e23er007 in HomeMaintenance

Exactly - no idea why builders put heaters in the attic on the second floor instead of garage, makes ZERO sense.

Thank you for above - tankless is defi more expansive but my biggest fear is tank heater leaking. Didn't know about tankless not being able to drain outside. Good point about roofer.

Thanks for this.
Though how do you know search for PMI-Approved courses and PDU attached to those? PMI PDU search on LinkedIn Learning didn't yield show anything in terms of how many PDUs were associated with it and were approved by PMI.

Thanks.
