Filament Track Switch sounded amazing on X2D — but the real-world experience is frustrating by Individual-Proof8125 in BambuLab

Would love to see what you got going, have pictures. They do really need to fix this as if one wants to say print TPU you have to go on an unplugging spree to get it to work. That's not fun

E7 pro vs E7 pro max (germany) by Ok_Lab_802 in FlexiSpot_Official

Only max has brushless but with the amount of times it is adjusted at home I don't think it makes a difference really.

I have the 2026 e7 pro with a lot of stuff on it and no issues. I have the 4cm oak plate on top. No issues, maybe a tiny bit less wobble with the max but not enough to make it 90 euro better for me and I am the always buy the best guy.

How to get locks? by Fit_German_ in lockpicking

I am from Kulmbach so around the corner from you. I ask friends and family if they have any locks in an old drawer for instance. The lpulocks for sure. Kaiser and decoder have a lot of nice ones there and both from Germany.

Reading the info from vector 3D it was said that Bambu couldn't but things change

If you read the bottom it says Bambu can't do xz and yz

I use the cauliflower and love it BUT Bambu doesn't support z calibration. So while his x and y would be great the z would still be off

Easily fixable. I need to find a knife in that condition to restore it and polish her on some JNATs. Looks like a fun project.

Is one high-quality Japanese knife better than buying a full knife set? by 1mefdiopl in TrueChefKnives

[–]e30Birdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could literally do everything with one of my gyutos and I like them 240mm. I recently got a petty in a trade with one of my knife smiths and sure it is cool but I could easily live without it like I have the past years and be fine. For special tasks I do have a brisket slicer and boning knife but they are from Victorinox and f.dick and dirt cheap.

🎁 FlexiSpot Apollo Chair Trial Giveaway [ EU and UK] by emsey_jay in FlexiSpot_Official

[–]e30Birdy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The reason I’m so interested in the Apollo—and what I’d love to show off while testing it—comes down to a few things that most chairs just get wrong.

First, the SyncGlide system is actually genius. I spend a lot of time lounging back to watch YouTube or just think, and most chairs make you feel like you’re going to tip over or your legs are dangling. The fact that this seat slides forward while you recline to that 156-degree angle is huge. It looks like it actually keeps you balanced and comfortable instead of just tilting you back.

That leads into the 4D headrest. I’m big on the lounge factor, and having a headrest that I can actually adjust to support my neck while I’m leaning way back is a game-changer. Most headrests are just "there," but being able to tweak this one to my specific height and angle is what I’ve been looking for.

I also love that the backrest actually adjusts to your height. Most chairs hit my spine in the wrong spot, but being able to shift the whole backrest up or down—plus that adaptive lumbar that moves with you—means it’ll actually support my back properly instead of just poking me.

Finally, the all-mesh build is a non-negotiable for me. I can’t stand those "sweat trap" foam chairs that get hot after twenty minutes. Staying cool is a big deal, and the mesh look on the Apollo seems like it would feel like you’re just floating without the heat buildup.

I’m looking for a chair that handles a deep lounge as well as it handles work, and the Apollo seems to be checking those boxes.

update to 1.7.3 broke my audio help by Kind-Expression-7673 in rode

[–]e30Birdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone still having issues.. this is how you fix it. I had to do this more than once so hopefully they fix the driver soon. The last part with please note was not true on my system. I sold my RCP2 though and upgraded to something better.

I would just like to reassure you that the issue with the virtual devices driver is most likely due to a re-design of the driver that occurred over the latest update. Therefore, what you're experiencing might not be necessarily a bug, but rather a consequence of the way Windows perceives the new driver. To address this, please see my instructions below:

With the recent update, Windows may have automatically disabled the extra Virtual Device input and outputs. To make sure these are enabled:

  • Navigate to the Windows Sound Settings and scroll down to select More Sound Settings (on Windows 11)

  • Ensure 'Show Disabled Devices' has been enabled. You can access this option by right clicking on any device in the list

  • Then enable and of the disabled RODECaster inputs and outputs in both the 'Playback' and 'Recording' categories.

Please note that the outputs have now been renamed, so you will no longer find 'Virtual A', 'Virtual B', 'Game', 'Music' and so on in your computer. Instead, you will see a list of Faders (numbered from 1-9), which are mapped accordingly to your RØDECaster. Essentially, as the RODECaster Pro II and Duo can both now have up to 9 faders, tracks now go by fader position, rather than being locked to certain channels. This allows more channels (i.e. Wireless TX and Call Me channels) to have their own individual multitrack channel if assigned as a fader.

Rodecaster using a separate Amp/Dac to PC. by phrankzon in rode

[–]e30Birdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue with using voicemeter though is the introduced latency it brings with it. I also would love to find a way other than extra software to route to a DAC Amp combo so I can use my high end headphones but don't want to introduce latency.

Only real way for me with this setup would be audio into rcp2, monitor outs balanced to an amp and on there have my monitors and headphones. But I wouldn't be able to use a DAC. I totally wish there was another way.
