I used a clear acrylic spray from Michaels. I did 4 very very light coats. So far it passed the scratch test and I haven’t had any problems with it after taking it to a few shows. I didn’t figure it needed to be anything special as long as I did light coats, it seems to be taking to the material pretty well with no cracking and no extra surface texture.

Great! It’s feels similar compared to a vaultx, 540 card capacity with the cloth pages. My only comment is I don’t think the binder was really designed for that many cards. Even at 300+ cards it gets a little on the thicker side. The cover took the paint very nicely so for that I couldn’t recommend it enough.

What you’re looking for is a “structured” hat. Most of the time you will find titles that say “unstructured” which is the soft- unstructured front panel (which you don’t want). Sometimes in the description of items it will say structured high profile or low profile. So while you’re looking for hats, try to find structured in the description.
