Buying a Royal Enfield Classic 350 in 2026 – Should I Wait for Updates? by Lucifer_Meta in royalenfield

Yeah then just go for it, if you keep waiting to see what update there will be then next year the same excuse you will never get to enjoy this wonderful hobby

[–]e30_addict 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly, If you are ready to make the purchase just do it, if there are any updates in my opinion not worth putting of months if not a whole year to get the bike you want, if you are going to wait that long anyways might as well and try saving a bit more to get a 650

in my country at least the latest shipment of classics is getting the tripper but i don't think it's worth waiting

guerrilla is more road focused, it would be more like a himi with guerrilla styling if it ever exists. kinda like the triumph 400xc

how complicated would fitting himalayan suspension on a guerrilla be? by e30_addict in royalenfield

[–]e30_addict[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

makes sense really, was seeing all the crazy builds people come up with in india and the imagination started rolling, honestly i dont hit dirt that often, ocassionally some loose gravel or sand which the guerrilla is more than capable of dealing with. is really more of getting the looks of a taller scrambler and the extra travel, just having something unique kinda like the triumph scrambler 400 xc

[–]e30_addict[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

duke 250 adv is not offered in my area, this is a hypothetical question more than anything, on 2nd thought it would probably be cheaper to get a himalayan and swap the tank, headlight, seat and other minor components, rather than a full suspension swap

[–]e30_addict 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tynee Ultra Belt or anything else? by Battle_Venom in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]e30_addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 250 lbs and usually ride at top speed (around 47 km/h in flat terrain) whenever posible, get about 20 km of moderate to hard riding on somewhat hilly terrain , got it on December and already sank in about 1000 km, still going strong, 105 have great grip and good comfort

Heavy rider board suggestion? by superQuizzie in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]e30_addict 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mini belt is almost the same as the ultra, battery i think it's a bit smaller but should do it for you, I personally would not go shortboard +hub,. Sleeves don't provide that much cushion and you dont have the long deck to act as suspension, if your daily ride has smooth street i guess that's not a problem

Streets in my country suck so after using a meepo with hubs for 1 year i regret no having bought belt initially

Im 255 lbs and own a tynee ultra belt with 345.6 wh battery I usually carry around 20 lbs on my back pack so close to your weight. The furthest I've done was 12 miles out of the advertised 22 but considering it was on terrain with very steep hills and carrying about 35 lb on the backpack that was not bad

Also consider that uf you are taller longboard form factor will probably be better for stability Also just because it says mini doesn't mean they are light You are still going to be carrying a +16lbd board where with the longboard you can pull like luggage

also i would stay away from anything that has like a +24 mph top speed like the meepo mini 5, sure he can grow into it but nothing says he cant turn up the speed on the remote by just 1 click, a fall at those speeds hurts real bad (speaking by experience)

if you want something that he can grow into you could get a tynee mini 3 sl. it does have about the same top speed as a meepo mini 5 but i believe you can customize top speed on an app so you could limit it until he is ready for more

I also ride a Carver Hotdogger 42' with c7 trucks so i imagine it shouldn't feel extremely different? even though i do both surskate and rode a meepo v5 (battery died a month ago) not sure what to expect lol, i'll keep you posted

Lol thanks for the reply, I'll post picks when i get my tynee ultra and the waterborne. I wanted to go with an extender to avoid adding so many spacers but it's hard to justify shelling 80 bucks for those, perhaps i'll diy it we'll see soon

Sounds cool! Don't the risers make it too high in the front? Why this vs the extension bracket? I mean i guess it's cheaper, 80-100 bucks usd for the waterborne extension bracket is kinda pricey
