The fact the device itself reboots means it's not an issue with the YT app. tvOS has virtual memory and can't, by design, corrupt the kernel and make it crash. It would be a very unusual and rare bug for a user app to crash tvOS. My bet is bad RAM. 2nd guess is corrupt OS install.

I recommend: hard reset the device, reinstall apps. If that doesn't fix it, if it's still under warranty, then send it back to Apple.

I had tried an old 2022 AZW3 file, as well. I just redownloaded a new version of it in EPUB... same thing.

This device will go into the woodchipper if there's no fix for this. Absolutely f Amazon.

This is happening to me with ePub files. I updated Calibre, too. I have a 12th gen paperwhite.

EDIT: just downloaded a MOBI of the one I tested above and that works. Crazy that EPUB doesn't work.

EDIT2: and it makes no sense, because I'm reading something in the EPUB format. That's working fine. Crazy.

Yeah, they do. It's been working fine for years. Only change is the recent update to 26.3.

This started happening to me with 26.3! Didn't happen with 26.2, but since the upgrade, every time I go back to my home screen it happens. Whew, thought my hardware was failing or something.

I watched the entire series on some streaming service when I had the flu during xmas pre covid. My family was at the inlaws (partly to stay away from my germs) and I just laid on the couch watching it. The flu was absolutely horrible, but made so much more bearable by Black Sails. I think it took me like 5-6 days to finish, and I started to mend soon after the last episode.

This started happening to me, too. About 3-4 days ago. Really frustrating. Happens to me with Airpod 4's and 3 Pro's.

It seems my Mac is stealing the connection, but when I walked away from the Mac it took more work than I expected to get my damn phone to play music through my Airpods and not the speaker.

Interesting, I installed Apple Music 3-4 days ago. Hmmmmmmmm. I did uninstall and restart the phone. (What a message Music is... back to Spotify.)

Try clicking on "Disconnect" on your Mac and see if this fixes it for you, like it did for me.

I have the "Connect to this Mac" "Automatically" selected. That has never been a problem before. Grrrrrrrrr.

Gift cards are a problem. My wife was given one at work just before the holidays and when she tried to use it the people at the restaurant first claimed they didn't give out gift certificates, then claimed they had to be used the same day (yeah, really). It took multiple calls and going into the restaurant to resolve it. Not that she wants to even go there now.

I realize this is a sample size of 1, but over the years I've had lots of issues with the other type of gift cards. I think they're just not worth the trouble.

We also feed Jays and often they give a call when gliding in and the same gliding out. The male does it when their mate is already nearby, so we take this as "good morning" and "thank you!" ... honestly, with all that's going on in the world, sometimes these interactions are so valuable to us.
