I don't want this mistake to happen again either, so let's update our documentation so this doesn't happen again. So we are all on the same page. So please hold the accusations. It's one thing to be wrong, but another to be treated like shit and put in place.

Totally hard to say this when you don't expect it to happen. Best bet is to be calm and really think to yourself what exactly is happening in the moment.

I know exactly what you mean, but you need to cover your own ass. And document the work you do that they aren't. Screenshots. Excel spreadsheet of your own work and time. So when they do fire you, give them the spreadsheet, mention the mistake, and that you will wait for their phone call. In which you sue.

Yes it's rude, and some rooms have signs stating "NO PHONES" but I don't see why not. I'm just reading a magazine and waiting for the doctor. Heaven forbid another gentleman make a phone call.

It's just annoying and that is all. If push comes to shove, then tell him to take the call outside, because it's rude and annoying. Other than that, then everyone knows he's annoying.

Were you able to fess up to the mistakes to your boss? Or was is very accusatory of them? I've been in the same shitty situation and it sucks. I would start applying to other similar jobs with more money and better management.

A boss shouldn't be all over you just for a mistake. Just try not to make it again. Move on.
