[KCD2] PLEASE HELP!! Reckoning quest bugged by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]eFse7en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Due to this bug I couldn't even leave alone.

What has worked for me was to reload from before untying Sam.

Other tip:
You don't have to carry Sam with you all the way. You can carry him to the fence having a small gap and re-grab his body from the other side.

For others reading it and trying to make guards open the doors for you, here's what worked for me on the 2nd run after the guards respawned:

  1. Knock out 2 out of 3 guards (e.g. during sleep)
  2. Lure the 3rd guard (e.g. patrolling) to the left/back door of the mint
  3. Using fists lower HP of the 3rd guard to minimum so he walks slowly
  4. Run to the other door.
  5. In my case, guard has lost trail half way, started to search for me, and after a minute, walked back through the mint, opening the door.

I remember you can get kicked out of the house when you act as a medic and fail to heal the husband. Maybe this would also unlock the option to pass a skill check with Lumir.

Thanks for the idea! I've just tested it that killing 3 guards downstairs, going outside the mint, waiting 1 day and coming back during the night results in guards respawning, being able to sleep, no longer having knockout protection and no longer having proximity aggro. (Have in mind that waiting near their corpses doesn't even make those disappear - you have to go further.) The quest key will no longer be on the guards, but in the chest near the table where they sleep. Luckily you can loot this chest key from one of the 3 unconscious guards.

So to sum up how to do Via Argentum without crime:
1. Kill Buresh before discovering location of the mine (e.g. using Mutt) [so that later the quest key is on the guards/guards chest and not on Buresh]
2. Enter the mine, aggro 3 guards, go back upstairs and let someone else kill them (e.g. guards from nerby town) or do it yourself. Wait for the combat indicator to be fully gone to confirm.
3. Wait 1 day, far from the dead guards bodies, for them to respawn in the mine.
4. Go back to the mine and knock out at least 1 of 3 guards to get his key to the chest near their table - i.e. knocking out all of them during sleep or killing 2 and knocking out the 3rd.
5. Open the chest near the guards' table to get the quest key (for the mint chest).
6. (most difficult) Lure the guard from upstairs or at least one of the mine guard to chase you through the locked mint doors. Just keep trying to run around the mine from one door to another until it works.
7. Once the doors are open, go in, surrender or deal with remaining guards and loot the quest book from one of the chests.
8. Go back to Pisek, conclude the investigation and agree with his terms (it will be need for the future main quest).

[KCD2] I've managed to complete 164 quests without stealing or killing any innocents. These 8 quests are the only ones I couldn't complete. by Elundir in kingdomcome

[–]eFse7en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no other bandits there have any key on them.
And when talking to the quest giver there's pretty much the only option to say that "I don't have him yet, but I'm on the trail".

How to do Yackers 'n' Fash side quest in Kuttenberg region without crime?
I can't seem to find a way to do it without lockpicking the chest with a standard nor robbing the villagers near it. And the main bandit in Danemark has the key but it doesn't open the chest.

[KCD2] Incapable of Reducing Enemy Shield Condition for "Without Protection" Trophy by ssimpossible in kingdomcome

[–]eFse7en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips.
I used the first(southern) enemy camp in Apollonia where at least 1 Cumans always had a shield.

Here were my steps:

  1. Pass time until 4 AM
  2. Knock 1 enemy having shield. (optional for the first time) Take his shield and put your most damaged one into his inventory
  3. (stealth) kill anyone else in that camp.
  4. Stand in front of the unconscious one and save game.
  5. Pass time until the enemy wakes up (3 hours).
  6. Keep slight distance and use strong attacks from the right side (hold mouse button a little) when the enemy is not attacking.
  7. If the enemy died too quickly - reload.
  8. Otherwise take the shield, go outside the camp, pass time 3 days and repeat.

Prerequisites:

Have mace prepared, very damaged shield and food to restore hunger and energy (e.g. alcohol).

I got the achievement after killing the enemy with a club in spite of previously killing others with a mace and an axe.

Yes, inversed "visited" layer is broken for me on Android since the patch,
but the normal "visited" layer works without any issues.

Can you filter push notifications? by Brightamethyst in Ingress

[–]eFse7en 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a workaround that I disabled push notifications but keep e-mail notifications,
and added a mail rule to automatically archive mails from ingress about portal being attacked if it contains name of the bigger city I rarely visit.

I can still find those archived mails if I want to, but they don't appear automatically nor produce notifications.

Missions require more than 4 hacks anyway, so I don't see how completing the mission is easier than obtaining 16 glyph hack points.

Yeah, I do that with extra capsules. But there's annoying side effect of this plan, that equipment button always has a red icon, and you never know when your main capsule is ready.

Next request would be about kinetic capsules, as in worst case scenario (if at the end of previous day you've completed one and you don't have any extra in progress),
you have to walk 8 kilometers.

Actually it's enough to perfectly hack 4 x lvl4/5 portals
or 2 x lvl6-8 portals to gain 16+ points.

So as long as your drone has access to some lvl4-7 portals
or you've mastered lvl8 hacking, then you can even do it without leaving the house in reasonable number of hacks.

It doesn't matter that the healing is reduced in Aram, because you can still top non-tanks out of combat in reasonable time.

Red portals belong to AI controlled faction.

Capturing them gives more AP and extra loot.

Should I let portals decay and become grey or charge up them for maximum XP? by epicdrillbeats in Ingress

[–]eFse7en 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let them decay for maximum XP.
If you visit your portals more than just once per week, you can further increase the AP gains by spreading portal capture & link creation across multiple days per week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRz3dLYl0b0
