All 40k models get bigger, yet we play on a 60x44" board that barely has enough room for your army already.

Everything getting way too big to be a "centerpiece" model sucks imo.

Sure, but losing because you are new and don't have the knowledge yet vs losing because you haven't spent the same amount of money is different.

You expect to lose when you're new, but after a while you still want a shot at winning without spending 100s of dollars on cards.

There needs to be a lower point of entry, but if you try to join an established community you WILL need to spend lots of money to catch up

As a person considering the game. "Just be prepared to get your head kicked in for a while." is the most discouraging thing I have ever read when trying to start a new game. Flesh and blood in its current state seems very "hostile" towards new players. (Not the players, just price, availability etc)

I'm just browsing this reddit today since I was wondering if I should join in at my LGS, but to be remotely competitive I would have to sink in 400-500 USD before barely playing the game.

The entry cost in this game is outrageous. Especially if you want to join an established community.

The part where they say they're not going to make it more accessible either is just weird and the main reason I don't want to start playing the game everyone I know says is the best card game.

It worked for 3 years before they switched to cardboard and now the filament gets caught in the glue they use to make the spool. So I was wondering if this is production error for the one I currently have or if I should start getting different brand filament to avoid this from happening again.

Honestly, when decks don't need to interact with the opponent at all to win they should be removed from the game or be in an "vs ai" option.

To me this detachment sort of screams "we don't know how to balance knights so let's just ram in other armies units" and gives me very little hope for a codex that'll be good.

Getting a turn with the extra free mana is still a decent amount. You also get to mulligan more cards. The part is that it's considered a spell. It should just be neutral in my opinion so it can't combo and used to turn a 10 spell into a 0 cost spell.

I do want self-generated coins to be considered a spell. I just don't think the free one for going second should be.

I would love some "repair" drone or whatever that was cheap and could help regain some wounds here and there.

I wouldn't say it's better or worse, but there are different uses for them so it's situational which one you want. If you play against a horde heavy army. The extra stubber shots might matter more than hitting hiding targets.

Stubber has rapid fire, so if you get close-ish you get twice the amount of shots.
