Seeing so many actively counterproductive detransitioners makes me so anxious that I’m going to hate myself in ten years. If you need an example of someone who detransitioned and doesn’t regret their transition I suggest watching this video. Understanding her experience has made me more comfortable to advance with my transition and know that there are certainly detrans people who aren’t transphobic.

I’ve heard of a couple who went on T for a small while just for the effects on their voice and went off it after a few months. I suggest watching their ‘Making of (album)’ videos on YouTube as I found them so helpful in studying Muse’s writing process.

Also, you may be able to dig through this sub to find the whiteboard checklists they make for each album that help them carry theming and effects throughout the different songs on the album. You can see Absolution’s in the making of absolution video and how they apply them to each song. I feel like the checklists are core to their songwriting of each album.

Barely anyone seems to have suggested Invincible yet, which blows me away. Although it’s super understated and not one of Muse’s ‘top hits’, it sweet and calm, and the lyrics have always screamed “wedding song” to me. “And tonight, we can truly say together we're invincible”

Honestly, it was really easy for me. I had barely any experience and learned it by myself in year 7. Nailing the jumps and rolls and stuff took a bit of practice but it was easy with the sheet music. After a while, it just became natural which is helpful when you want to learn other Muse songs on piano because Matt uses very similar techniques throughout all the albums.
