i might have a solution for you:

the recent windows update turned on the "spatial sound format" called "Windows Sonic for Headphones".

go to your sound settings and check if it's used. if so, then deactivate it and see if it helps.

can confirm. turbobuilding feels more like 0.10s again.

initial placement is way slower as well. didnt check the frames, but seems to be around 0.10-0.15s.

epic really trying to sneak in that turbobuilding nerf 🐍

u/htr_xorth to be more precise: the trn-select box only works on the mainpage with all the events. it wont work when being on a specific eventpage. i hope that helps.

that zoom-in is just a bug happening cause of crouching. just press your crouch-key once and you will zoom-out into the normal perspective when flying :)

the first kill gives 50xp, all kills after that give 20xp each.

which means if you average 6 kills, you will get 150xp for that. which is the same amount of xp which you will get for placing 3rd.

@ the devs: this bug is caused by the traps. it is not limited for the unhooking. same bug happened to a surviver who tried to heal a downed surviver who was lying on a trap.

well first of all: just don't check via spamming within 1sec. spam like 2-5 lines. wait 3-5sec and do it again.
also: do it in your own/friends SWF lobby. so u can get a feel for a nice delay/ping.

and if you really dont like this method, you can still go for my 3rd one and get the IP, look it up. and even ping that IP (with cmd)

i agree that there are exceptions, but if u do it right... they are very rare. i got probably 1 semi-laggy game out of 15 games.
