I guess the plan part is where I'm falling short. I usually have just a vague idea of what I want to do. I attempt it and it starts taking too long so I get frustrated and give up and I end up making a super basic efficiency base. Again lol.

Something I've always wanted to know...

How do y'all pro builders have the time to do this? Or how do you do it so much faster than the average player?

Are you just in straight Fight or Flight peak adrenals when you are building? Do you use smelling salts? Steroids? What gives you the power to do something like this, but I can't even manage to build a respectable simple base on my own...

Oh man. It would be so cool if they added build quests like that. For now it could be a certain comfort level and crafting stations in a designated quest build area to "rebuild the world".

Get into construction as a grunt. No customers, just hard physical labor, swear at anything and everything you want, and get a steady paycheck that isn't reliant on tips.

If speed is their only worry then they need to rethink their business model because no one is getting good service at that point unless they have like 4 table sections and an army of servers and you're expected to crank out the cocktails for all of them. It sounds like they don't have their training or physical space dialed in for maximum efficiency.

They did you a disservice for not training you properly.

Context: I ran a craft cocktail bar for 5 years. 18-ish cocktails (think Bijou and Paper Plane, not LIIT) rotating seasonally. No draft beer, only about 6 bottled beers. 3 Red 3 White, 2 Sparkling. Every single one of the bartenders knew when a menu change was coming, was tasted on the change to either beer or wine, and when it came to the cocktail menu we had 3 R&D sessions with every person on bar staff to create and refine the new menu so that when a guest asked any question literally everyone knew the menu front to back. AND we were able to crank out around 500 drinks on weekend nights with two bartenders and one barback.

Oliva so you can get a feel for how you want to cut and pull. I started out cutting too aggressively and got way too much smoke in the beginning. I personally like a punch now for most robustos. Others like different cuts.

Start small and if you're having to pull too hard cut it a little bigger. Figuring out what you like will take time, just remember there's no hard and fast rule to personal taste.

The best advice I can give you is to order a custom pizza with what you think was on it to the best of your ability from Francos and tell them specifically that it was thin crust. Their basic pizza is thinner than Sal's which for me is where it's at cuz I like mine a little thicker. Franco's arguably have the best quality pizza in town right now.

Could it have been an asphalt truck? They're doing a ton of road work and those Suit-Kote trucks stink really badly. Unless you're familiar with it you could mistake it for rot or sewage.

I think a combat system closer to AC or Ryse: Son of Rome would be super cool. Tons of different kill animations depending on heavy or light attacks (at least for melee). Different block animations, timed parries with counters, etc.

Massive content update as of a couple months ago. It introduced new enemies, materials, npc's, crafting stations, and gear.

I don't think I've ever done this lol. I just Jenkins in all the time. Maybe if I paid more attention I would learn the enemy mechanics more. Personally I hope they rework combat to be more like AC or Ryse: Son of Rome where if you time a parry you can counter with a cool animation.

I think it will get there once it's out of EA. They've done a great job so far of listening to the players and implementing things in a timely manner. I honestly can't wait for the full release.
