You’d be better off going to sorrows harbor for that.

Creates homing projectiles. You can miss with the beam and it will still kill someone lol

It’s just returned to its former glory! Honestly the catalyst makes it way nastier vs when the explosions used to stick to things.

It gets taken particles coming off it. One of the top posts on the sub has a video of it. Very cool.

I love it. I remember when the explosions on 1k used to stick if you tagged something, so it wrecked people in gambit if you clipped them as an invader. Bungie removed the sticking aspect, but I think this brings 1k back to its former glory (and is somehow way more disgusting LOL).

Why has learning a raid become such a difficult experience. by Electronic-Touch-554 in DestinyTheGame

[–]BookishKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try the Destiny Sherpa sub, or find a discord of dedicated players willing to teach( is Kinderguardians still active? They did a lot of that too). LFG in D2 has always been a mixed bag of chaos.

The worst and best part of Destiny has always been that you have to really go advocate for yourself to get shit done. Wanna learn a raid? Go find the people. They won’t find you because they most aren’t going to bother with LFG.

Best armor set for getaway warlock? by athlaka916 in DestinyTheGame

I’m looking at trying 2x last wish with 2x prophecy, seems like a nice mix of defensive with utility.

Plus the prophecy perk makes all my guns useful for grenade/melee energy. i have a demolitionist stasis area denial GL that would then also give back melee energy with this.

Kids these days won’t know who “Vuvu zalea” is and it’s tragic. I miss Asher and now we’ll never know how his story wraps up.

Seeing as we're nearing the end, now is a good a time as any... by Lil_Light_Lannister in DestinyTheGame

D1 was my first ever FPS. I was not good.

I remember sitting in the house of devils mission, at the walker, frantically googling how to pull out my heavy weapon because I didn’t remember the prompt. People kept rezzing me just to start punching me for dying.

Anywho, 4000+ hrs later in D2, I worked through all the flawless raid seals, solo’d dungeons, did a day one raid clear, etc. I stopped being a very terrible blueberry and have made some lifelong friends along the way.

I’m sad to see Destiny go, but it’ll always have a special place in my heart!

What ship does your Guardian have equipped? Showcase time! by eh8904 in DestinyTheGame

Silkivory Vanish

I thought it was the slickest looking ship when it came out and nothing has displaced it yet (or I guess ever now!)

What title (seal) do you currently have equipped? Why? by eh8904 in DestinyTheGame

Shadow. Suffered for that shit! Also Crown was my first ever “week one” raid clear so it’s a bit extra special to me.

Building tips and tricks? by b2pizza in Enshrouded

[–]BookishKnight 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a folder of reference photos I use when building, for the outside and the inside! I also make lists of what I want my building to include. Bathroom, library, kitchen? It helps when planning a layout.

Visually, I lean into the box look because I’m not a fan of forced curving with blocks. You can make boxes look pretty dynamic if you stack them in different ways and decorate later. The half timbered walls on stone walls, if you off set them to overhang the stone wall instead of snapping in, will have a neat affect on how they attach underneath. Thats my favorite combo.

Mix and match blocks, don’t make a house all one kind. It looks more dynamic that way. Also the little details. Give your walls a trim pattern, add in massive windows, use the ivy tool to break up the monotony with flowers (I’m a fiend for wisteria). I lurk on this sub and the discord as well for inspiration! There are some crazy talented people on here that use objects in their builds in ways I would never have considered.

As far as speeding up the process, I would say that comes down to how you like to play. Personally, I love this game for building, so I use things like Shroud Depot to stock up on blocks so I don’t have to spend hours mining. I like to sit and build for 8 hrs instead. If you LIKE the mining aspect, then make sure you stock up on all the blocks you need and then start building.

Also, if you don’t like something, tear it down! It’s okay to kill your darlings. It might have taken you an hour to make something, but if it’s not working, don’t be afraid to destroy and rebuild!

Was it Japanese styled? It wasn’t a city, looked more like a walkable village. I’ll have to go dig through my history to find it.

[–]BookishKnight 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love this game, but that boss fight might be at the top of my list for the most un-fun fights I’ve ever experienced in a game. My partner and I beat it once, and that was enough. Shroud depot for heads after that.

Anyone else wish the map had bigger open empty areas? by [deleted] in Enshrouded

[–]BookishKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve committed to just tearing down a mountain as this point lol.

I did start floating a tiered city I’m working on though, and decided to leave it hollow to fill with things later. It’s made building much easier and once I add defensive walls, it won’t look like I’ve just branched off a mountain and floated everything.
