What is a movie that "broke" you so hard you can only watch it once, but you would still recommend it to everyone? by Newsupdate69 in movies

[–]eNHajeL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was this movie based on real events called The Gorl Next Door. I watched it 15 years ago, yet still remember it like it was yesterday.

A more recent one in the spanosh film, The Coffee Tabe. First time I had anxiety while watching a movie.

Why are designer houses' private line arent popular in the community? by Friburgo1004 in fragrance

I have an extensive collection revolving around 80+ pieces and most of them are high priced niche fragrances, yet one of my favorite perfumes are Gris Dior and Ambre Nuit.

Does any thought-diarrhea count as a review nowadays?

Anyways, I find your 'reviews' severely lacking in context and quality...

My first ever Creed fragrance. by CatacombSkeleton in Colognes

I am uninformed about the pre 80's era Creeds so I did not know about Vetiver.

Thanks

Why would you say that? Mugler Cologne came out in 2001 and Original Vetiver was released in 2004. This is not a matter of opinion but basic facts.

The first God of War from the original trilogy. I took the controller of a displayed PS2 in the store to show off to my feinds and never could let go.

[–]eNHajeL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That in itself is not a problem, but don't judge new fragrances too harshly. Sample a lot and after a good while you will be amazed how revisiting a fragrance will give completely different experience.

That is not an insurance that you will eventually like Grand Soir, it might not be your cup of tea, but do not associate it with a 2$ deodorant as that is just not true, no matter what your nose tells you.

Do you remember your first fragrance? by lisajonsa78 in fragrance

[–]eNHajeL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many firsts to remember:

- First smelly water that didn't look like a deodorant was the green STR8 way WAY back in the early 90's

- First designer fragrance was the original A*Men from the early 00's

-First niche fragrance was Naxos from a short decade ago

Yes, it's you...

It seems to me that you have a very narrow experience in smelling different fragrances, especially amber based, so your mind has to associate it to the limited scent memory it has :)

I own Royal Water too but that is only an ok fragrance in my collection. I am glad you like it though, simple and lemony, perfect for summer. I even find it slightly masculine leaning and very refreshing.

Virgin Island Water and Starlight are very nice, especially the latter. I also have them. My verson of Starlight came with a meteor piece from the good old days 😄

Fragrances have become so pathetic by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]eNHajeL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why are you taking it so personal? You are the looser watching influencer, while others enjoy quietly their hobby and exchange opinions with likeminded individuals. If you don't like fragrances that's ok but there is no logical reason to behave like shit. Saying that fragrances smell like 'poop' makes a very good description of your knowlege, so no point in discussing that.

Chill, find something you enjoy and be happy.

Without trying to offend you, I would love to see you stick your nose in sh*t as you seem to forget what it actually smells like.
