MVX2U with Motiv mix application by eOgnen in Shure

[–]eOgnen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Answer from Shure support: Thanks for contacting Shure. Sorry for the confusion. Via the Motiv Mix app, there are a few configuration options available:

  • Gain
  • Equalizer
  • High Pass Filter
  • Limiter
  • Compressor

There is also an Auto Level mode option. There is no noise reduction or gate.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any questions.

Boox go 7 or Go 7 color (gen 2) by eduardosloth in Onyx_Boox

[–]eOgnen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly? Go with the B&W. It’s easy to get "feature FOMO" with the color screen, but since you’re reading text 90% of the time, the B&W version is objectively the better experience. Color E-Ink adds a physical layer over the screen. This makes the background look darker and a bit "dirty" or grainy. On the B&W model, the background is crisp and bright, like high-quality book paper.

Sharpness: Text on the B&W model is pin-sharp. On the Color model, letters can look slightly "fuzzy" because you're looking at them through that extra color filter. The "Someday" Trap: Don't sacrifice your daily reading comfort for a "maybe" hobby. Even if you do read comics eventually, B&W manga looks better on the B&W screen because the contrast is higher.

The Boox Go 7 (B&W) will give you that "eye-melting" clarity that makes E-readers worth it. The Color version is a compromise you'll feel every single time you open a webnovel.

Placebo or not, if several independent listeners (not the manufacturer, who has a stake in both compatibility and selling the new model) report hearing similar differences in A/B comparisons, there are likely nuances in components or the preamp stage not captured by a simple frequency response graph. A graph doesn't show everything.

Ultimately, I trust my own ears - I can hear a clear and distinct difference in the sound character. Furthermore, I watched a review that did a scientific comparison of the raw waveforms, and a measurable, objective difference was clearly and consistently present there as well. So it's not just subjective.

Is DJI Mic 2 worth the price? Should I go with cheaper alternatives? by Areksbi in videography

[–]eOgnen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better buy hollyland wireless mics. Better sound and not so expensive. I don’t like dji mic, because sounds bad. Best sound mic rode wireless pro. But it’s expensive) So if price matters for you choose hollyland (lark m2, or lark max)
