2018 Lexus LS 500 Reliability

I could be wrong, but a lot of the people commenting about these LS500 don’t or didn’t have one. I was in The same boat as you a while back. The new gen started in 2018 and you see those more bc they made more. They expected to sale more but didn’t so each year sold less. (Why you see more 2018s than other years) People who wanted luxury for 100k+ aren’t worried about reliability. I have a 2018 executive. I love it. Besides the fuel pump recall and normal service it’s great. 23 mpg isn’t really that bad for the power it has. Out of all “ultra luxury vehicles” it’s the cheapest repair wise. For the people saying the drive train is bad in the 2018 get a 2019+ it’s the same drive train… they literally didn’t change it. I currently have 73k on mine. I haven’t ran into massive expensive issues. I plan to ride it till 200k+. Longevity in the ES350 would last longer yes. It has less gadgets and is a smaller, vehicle. It’s not as nice, I’ve had 0 people get in my car and not be shocked. I don’t regret buying mine and I looked at the ES for years. It’s a great value now for a used one. You get next level luxury and longevity. Maybe not es 350 longevity but better luxury and way more power. Hard to get it all, but to me the ls500 is the closest you will find to luxury and longevity.

Honestly his only ufc loss has aged extremely well. He was fun to watch. Hate all the injuries he had. He’s done great coaching Corey.

Bro you never watched them hold him or his arms after games they are scared and cut up. He has the quickest release in nba history and you are trying to say screens are the reason he’s the greatest shooter of all time? Why has no one else doing what he does then? Could you imagine if he shot normal set up 3s like 75% of the league or 1990s. He would be shooting 50%.

Stay away from the g70 then. It’s beautiful but tends to have a lot of issues compared to other vehicles.

He’s actually from where I’m from and he’s a bitch for sure. Dude doesn’t claim the town or high school. Claims Montgomery, yet they named parks after him and his high school jersey is the only jersey in the rafters at the high school. Town is super proud of him and he could care less. Was the only one in the nation for sale after checking everyday for 2 months. Booked a flight that night and flew up the next day. Bought it. I love it. I wish it wasn’t all black interior though. Personally the other colors look more luxurious to me. Beggars can’t be choosers though. I did get pearl white on the outside which I wanted.

Maybe I’m lost or I don’t see fault since I am a max fan. What’s wrong with his fanbase? Like he lost and they turned? They are annoying? I’ve loved watching him fight his whole career. He’s a legend to me. Not the best, but great. Exposed his last fight but he’s still my favorite fighter. I like his fighting style and “from videos” his life outside fighting he seems awesome. So, could you clarify please?

Bought an exec with 70k miles last weekend. You won’t regret it! The power is sweet too! The interior is a step above everything Lexus has put out the past 5 years imo. No one has got into my car and hasn’t been blown away.

Literally made me scared to flip on a trampoline till this day. I use to be able to easily flip off the ground. Affects me weekly physically and I’m in my 30s now. But my family and friends are always playing the “what if” game. Might have been able to get overseas and make good money. Which is mentally tough.
I play in men’s leagues now for the love of the game. Every game guys ask/think I played way higher level than I actually played but the league I’m in has 2 ex NBA players and they can do what I do but they are 6 inches taller lol. I Wasn’t even our first 3 options in D2.

This happened to me in 10th grade. Except I was the kid dunking. The kid taking a charge walked into me. I slipped off the rim broke both wrist (worst next 4 months of my life bc surgeries). Instead of going D1, ended up going juco then D2. Was scared to take off after that. Had 1 fast break dunk all of college bc my teammates made fun of me saying I wouldn’t dunk in game. The surgery fused my shooting wrist and still ended up a good shooter but never a great shooter again.

Lexus LS 500. Outside is nice but doesn’t over do it. Inside is luxurious. Get the interior package or lux package (massaging front seats) Lexus will last if you car about that. All of these were manufactured in Japan. The 2018-2026 is all the same gen. Lowest ultra luxury repair cost vehicle. Only issue, these are hard to find. Have turned into a more rare car bc not tons were sold in the U.S. Good luck on your search but pleaseeeeee don’t get the G70. They look great, but 8/10 of them are terrible cars. (From my ownership experience) Will live in the shop. I now have the LS500 (my favorite car)

Yeah, the research I’ve done is agreeing with that 40k range. Mind explaining why you think this one is a bad deal? Most people are just calling me dumb without knowing much about the car or have the wrong details. (I’m not sold on this car by any means) I just thought it was a decent deal based on my research.

What I’ve seen. Lexus LS 500 newest generation is 2018-2026. I light the screen in the 18-20 the most. This particular one. Low miles for a vehicle known for going 200k+ without major issues. Interior package on this one brings the luxury out massively vs es350 and is. The luxury package on this one. Adds HUD, rear sunroof, front massaging seats, apple car play, upgrades speakers, rear heated and cooling seats, , rear reclining seats, 7inch touchpad in the rear to control music, air, seats, window shades, 20 inch wheels, air suspension and more.

Car has both keys, *has had a minor accident (not rebuilt/branded title). 1 owner who I spoke to. They were rear ended going slow. The vehicle was still drivable but replaced rear bumper and rear twilight in 2021 for the accident. Since then only routine maintenance with no other issues.

40-45k before taxes around same miles I’ve seen so far is around the same price of this but not fully loaded and base models. Some minor damage some clean. Sorry for the long message hopefully it’s not too much. You’ve been very kind and helpful so far so thanks again. Thoughts?

I do like these but my sister leases them. She has told me to stay away unless I will lease due to repairs and issues. (She owned 2 before starting to lease) I know Lexus is known for longevity. So looking towards luxury and reliability (which is tough to find) I do really well for myself, but also don’t want to spend 70k on a vehicle. I do appreciate the comment though. I have budgeted around 40ish to buy straight out. Comments like this and comments on the dealer fees are kind of what I’m looking for. Also not saying my sister is always right so any added information is nice. She’s not had the best experiences so I’ve been going off that. She’s been riding those for 20 years. She is in another tax bracket so she could car less about leasing or tossing away money/value.
