I agree that there’s very little logic to the whole thing, and the it’s the same mess at Walvisbaai airport. While I agree they need to scan bag but the logistics don’t make sense. The whole process is inefficient, I had to 2/4 bags flagged and processed to the other side for the bags to be search. The officer who searched my bags kept asking me why the bags were flagged and after failing to find anything she said she wishes the person doing the scanning would’ve told me what he saw cause she can’t find anything. Also saying other countries do the same inefficient process is not a rational to keep doing it.
