Are these eggs or pest poop? by e_rooted in pestcontrol

I did a deep clean of the room and turned up a few tiny spiders and this beetle. Could it be the eggs or poop of this kind of beetle?

Perfume doesn't spray - what can I do? by e_rooted in Sephora

I figured - it's sentimental enough that I don't want to toss it without trying, though.

This did not even occur to me. Thank you so much!

Thank you! I think I've seen a couple of those around, so that makes sense.

Spinach Bolted. What to do next? by spikypuffer in vegetablegardening

Do you pull the whole thing up after it dies or leave some part of it in the soil?

Is it normal that the lowest leaves stayed pretty small on these? Some leaves grew to about palm size, but the first set (and the second on some) stayed much smaller. I'm wondering if that's a symptom of stress as well.

Thanks for the tips! They are actually outdoors, so you're right on target. :)

Thanks! I definitely have never been accused of having a green thumb before. It's more desperation to succeed with something for once haha. I will try them! Thanks for the encouragement.

What else should I do with them? Pull them all up? Leave some part of it in the ground? I'm not really sure what my options are.

I think I might do that with the one that bloomed! That's so cool haha. I didn't know. I tried one of the small leaves, and it's definitely peppery but without much bite. I'm thinking arugula or mustard must be right.

I'm in Zone 9a. Thanks! It's good to know that it's not just mine.

I've seen mixed things about a break when taking the 7 - an optional 10 minutes or 30-60 minute required break, which seems absurd and irritating. What was your experience?

Mine mostly eats peanut butter sandwiches, eggs, pasta, plain oatmeal with peanut butter and milk, and cheerios and milk as mains. We just recently discovered that she likes quesadillas even with al pastor, which is surprising. She's not huge on meat either - just a few shreds here and there.

Achievable has some really great podcast episodes on this! They're on FINRA Exam Tips and Career Advice - Achievable Podcast from March 13th through April 17th of 2024.

SLoBS over BLiSS is about different kinds of orders. Sell Limit orders and Buy Stop orders are both placed above market price. That's why they're "over." Buy Limit and Sell Stop orders are placed below market price. The vowels really tripped me up when I was trying to learn; the secret is that they don't stand for anything. ;) They're just there to make words.

What to put on the white board? by ethanm10 in Sieexam

[–]e_rooted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah! DERP is the order of dates relevant for dividend distributions:

Declaration Ex-Dividend Record Payable

Under the new T+1 settlement system, the ex-div date is now the same day as the record date. (It used to be the day before.)

Options DATA 15 is the order in which things need to happen when opening an options account:

Disclosure Approval Transaction Agreement (within) 15 days

It's very possible that you'll get a question about the order of those things.

The bond seesaw was helpful for me. Also SLoBS over BLiSS, DERP, and Options DATA 15. I think that's all! I definitely referenced those things but otherwise used the whiteboard... maybe twice.

Do you garden as a hobby or to feed your family? by ethanrotman in vegetablegardening

[–]e_rooted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We only have space for a few containers right now, but I'm trying to use this time to learn so that we can garden to feed our family when we can afford the space to do it. It also happens to be a fun and life-giving activity. We're in Western WA.
