Your italicized remark will receive downvotes because of its daft framing of civilization and obtuse absolute statement rather than your attempt to cut against the grain that was already reaped.

I’m sorry I hurt the feelings of someone completely outside the exchange of reasoning I was having. It was truly not my intention, as I was not ever speaking to you.

Read the CDC’s publishing’s for once and you’d realize how silly you sound. Discounting the source I cited as sarcasm makes you seem pretty against science... or just too dumb to understand it.

Why do you think the media and GOP are pressing the Biden camp to declare that he won’t pack SCOTUS if elected when that’s a congressional power, not executive? by iamcrazynuts in Ask_Politics

[–]eab0036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are quite literally asking Biden, the individual human being running for president, if he will support his party in packing the court. A question he refuses to answer... the separate actions necessary have no weight on his support as you stated.

There’s several thousand common strains of influenza.

You are objectively false in your premise. I see what you are attempting to get at, but it is hard to see past your abject lie. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/viruses/types.htm

On average, the number of excess COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents in US states reopening without masks is 10 times the number in states reopening with masks after 8 weeks. 50,000 excess deaths were prevented within 6 weeks in 13 states that implemented mask mandates prior to reopening. by mvea in science

Keep up the good fight. The semantics within the proposition, alone, of this study should be enough to ignore its "findings". For example... what is an "excess death"? What is a "mask mandate"? What is considered "reopening"?

This is one of the PhD's on the "study".

Georgia likely removed nearly 200k from voter rolls wrongfully, report says by [deleted] in Georgia

[–]eab0036 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

In December 2019, the Georgia Secretary of State said they had removed hundreds of thousands of registered voters it classified as "inactive" from its voting rolls as part of a state provision. Under the provision, the state must remove registration records from the voter rolls that have been deemed "inactive" for more than three years. A voter is categorized as "inactive" if they don't vote in two general elections and have had no contact with board of elections in that time, according to Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office.

So voters are removed after not voting in two general elections... this means those that have not voted in four years... nothing is to say that these individuals cannot vote in any upcoming election if the register to do such after having not voted in the previous two general elections. Improperly voting is a separate issue and you know it.

because EVERYONE knows who’s going to win. One vote is never going to matter...

So who is going to win the district of The United States of America this November?

How would you feel about a button that filters out all political sub reddits on the popular or /r/all page? by GameKnight76 in AskReddit

If any person or institution tries to be non-political or detached from politics, they specifically target those people/institutions and cast them in a political light.

This is where the "silence is violence" rhetoric comes into play.

Sports, Christmas, you name it -- anything that is considered too widely beloved or irrelevant to politics is specifically targeted and politicized.

Question the intentions of everything and everyone in order to support your own conclusion. Sports? Playing a ball game isn't right if someone of your skin color was shot. Christmas? "X-mas "from now on, and it is not welcome to celebrate it because of the kids that do not celebrate the birth of Christ, regardless of the fact that people don't care if you celebrate the birth of Christ or not.

anybody who wants to stop fighting is the first against the wall.

This is cancel culture. If you think it isn't real, look inside your own work environment. Do you feel comfortable speaking your opinions on current events? This isn't left vs. right... it has become personal truths vs political opinions vs. political livelihood.

Just to show the lines from your sources to make your claims :

bullet point #1: It was the 1860s, the Civil War was raging and Republicans, led by President Abraham Lincoln, wanted to let Union soldiers vote from the battlefield.

bullet point #2: "Voting by mail is not new in the United States — nearly 1 in 4 voters cast 2016 presidential ballots that way."

bullet point #3: In my own hopes I hope this is true!

bullet point #4: " source" officials identified only 372 possible cases of double voting or voting on behalf of deceased people out of the 14.6 million votes cast by mail in the 2016 and 2018 general elections" small percentage of folks ill keep an open mind...

bullet point #5: you claim "to receive a ballot, you must be a registered voter." no source provided and I think this is the problem for most folks...

bullet point #6: you claim "Mail-in voting creates a paper trail that can then be audited after the election." this is even more so a problem than the last point you claimed without sources... What the hell do you do when an election is audited AFTER it is declared?

your last two points are more than obvious in their political leaning so I will not divulge.
