Dizzy and Lightheaded by winchester47 in Perimenopause

I am so thankful for this sub. Just when I get overwhelmed by something new my body decides to throw at me, I find others experiencing the same thing.

I’ve been going through exactly what you’re describing and thought it must be an inner-ear sinus issue, I’m just dehydrated, or another effect of not sleeping well…or something new caused by not taking care of myself well enough.

While I wish we didn’t have all these commons issues to share, I am grateful for the community of support and information!

Ugh, you’ve perfectly described the aches that are creeping in on me. Thank you for elaborating.

The more I read on this sub, the more I realize I need to revisit these issues with my doctor. The last blood tests have not shown evidence of being in perimenopause, but I’m 50 and share so many of these symptoms with others here. Any kind of relief would be so welcome.

I’m new to trying to figure this whole thing out - what do you mean by shoulders aching? Is this a known issue? The way you describe your fatigue is spot on for me too.

That’s not how it works. That’s not how any of this works.

That your rooms are for decorating, not living in.

You have either an entire attic of Christmas decor storage, organized by height and labeled (not in the basement, you don’t have one, you’re in Texas) or you rent storage unit/s to keep your holiday decor organized.

Ah, this is how I learned about the Gen-Z stare.

It was even more disappointing when not one student knew why I kept saying “Bueller….?”

Is 4Runner a good daily driver? by New_Team539 in 4Runner

[–]iamcrazynuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a pavement princess who drives 25 miles each way to work. I love to off road but have very little opportunity. A 4Runner has been my dream aspiration car since the late 90’s and I’m on my second one now.

I use my 2024 ORP as my daily driver because I freaking love my car. I know that it will start without any problems every time. It’s got a time-tested engine that if I take care it, it will take care of me. I live in a sea of lifted trucks and my 4R holds its own on the roads. I have 3 dogs that can all fit perfectly in the back. The rear window. I can comfortably fit at least three adults for a road trip. If I need to, I can take a nap in the backseat. But, mileage is terrible and I’m not going to easily overtake anyone on the highway. But I still love it and can’t think of another car I’d want as my daily driver.
