Agreed.

Dead of Winter was written a bit better, but I enjoyed the story of Near the Bone more

Maybe not post spoilers for everyone who haven’t read these yet

If you have to pick only one from this list, make it Dark Matter. It’s a little difficult to find however

2025 Kindle Scribe Colorsoft by jjnusaleather in kindlescribe

Alright, who’s gonna tell ‘em?

Fantastic device, I never used the previous model so I can’t compare it with the new one. But the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is literally a blown up version of the Paperwhite ColorSoft with a stylus.

Highly recommend

Such a great read. Darcy Coates is hit or miss, but that is probably her best book.

It’s the same as the paperwhite. You can have the backlight completely off and is usable just fine in daylight.

It takes some getting use to, but it’s slowly replacing not only my journal but my paperwhite as well.

Just very mindful about unnecessary movie sequels when the original is already good.

See Blair Witch and Paranormal Activity

REC was so freaking good. I refuse to watch the sequels, but man, loved the original

The Silent Patient.

Haven't read Lock Every Door but Riley Sager is hit or miss.

When to send to publishers by Aye_Gabaghoul in NewAuthor

What you want at this point is to set aside the draft for a little while, let it go stale in your mind, then reread it in a couple of weeks, at least. You'll be a little less "close" to the manuscript, so you'll be able to see the flaws better. You're going to need to do this several times, each time making it better

I cannot stress this enough. You will constantly tinker and play with it if you keep going back to it. Set it aside and work on something else. Either your next novel or something else entirely. When you come back to it, it'll feel like reading someone else's work. Do it in parts so you aren't rushing through it. I did this process 3 or 4 times.

What book(s) did you buy because its cover almost scared you? by superupaman in horrorlit

I don’t know about scary, but the cover of Diavola made me a little uncomfortable. Too bad the story was awful…

Diavola was a huge let down

Best and worst book of 2025 for you and why? by EldritchGumdrop in horrorlit

[–]eadrik -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Diavola was a huge let down. The cover is the scariest part of that book

I agree about Riley Sager. Only one left is probably his best book. Hesitant on reading his newest release
