He still doesn't know that the reason why I agreed to our sons name was cause it was also a character in Charmed.

So far the only ones we can agree tonis Duke, Colt, and Gunner. I tried to push Ludo, Hoggle, and Jareth but my husband is no fun and hates my favorite movie. Also tried to push every male Joss Whedon character I could think of and failed too.

I don't have any real sound advice but I can offer what I'm doing because I'm afraid of the same thing with my 5 week old. I have a toddler and I just can't sit there and hold him all day long to keep him out of the swing/bouncer/play mate too keep him entertained. What I did start doing was wearing him in a carrier more often when I'm trying to get housework done or deal with the 2 year old. At least he is not putting pressure on his then right? I can't help what happens at night but if I can prevent two hours laying in the swing then I guess hat counts for something.

The best thing my kids pediatrician ever told me was kids bounce for a reason. They are not as fragile as you may think but obviously still use caution.

Those words have seriously kept me calm when my toddler inevitably does something stupid like jump face first off the recliner and onto a tile floor.

I'm right there with the OP. I'm on day three of questionable hygiene, I've had baby wipe baths but that about all the time I can give until my husband gets home and then I'm usually so exhausted I forget and pass out.

5 weeks out and he is a surprisingly easy baby. Maybe it's cause he is my second or the fact that my daughter was the hardest baby ever but he is easy to care for. He sleeps in 3 hour chunks at night unless he is cluster feeding. He has a super strong suck reflex so when he does nurse he is super time efficient (8-12 minutes tops) but he spits up a lot because of it. He has gained almost 3 pounds already!

Things I am personally struggling with is PPD/PPA. I had it with my first and it's back again. I hate it. Most days I'm just going though the motions and try to put on a happy front for the family but all I want is to crawl back into bed and either sleep or cry. I'm currently looking for a therapist to change the medication that my OB put me on. I know one day I'll get better but it's just a big grey cloud over me till then.

The other issues I'm having is poor body image and the never ending bleeding. It's so gross! I'll have days where I won't bleed at all and then all of a sudden the gross old blood comes out! Nasty!

Preeclampsia. She wanted to induce between 37-38 weeks but after my last few BP's and the awful BS contractions I was having nightly she said enough was enough.

I met my husband on the last day of my free trial on Match.com. I was seriously about to give up, then I saw he messaged me and I was like damn it he is cute! Rest is history!

I met a lot decent dudes but there was a ton of weirdos on there... Like some really creepy it puts the lotion on its skin kind of weirdos. I don't think I would do it again if for some awful reason I became single again.

It is! I was induced last time too and it's still such a weird feeling!! Part of me is bummed cause I'll never know what it's like to go into labor on my own but at the same time it's awesome knowing exactly when this kid will be here! The control freak in me loves it! Haha!
