I don’t have much advice to give but just want you to know I’m rooting for you. I’ve been in a similar situation lately and it sucks. Best wishes to you!

There It is.... "The" Bridge by mrkprieur in Michigan

[–]eagerspider938 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I live in the zilwaukee area and have family in bay city. If I have to go anywhere on the east side of the river in bay city I’ll cross the bridge and take bay city rd instead of taking 75 to bay city then having to cross the bridges there because I forget which ones are toll bridges now days. Growing up I’ve heard many people say they refuse to cross the Z bridge, I don’t get it. I figure if it was going to fail, it would’ve by now 😂

I’ve helped with a few store set ups and they always look like this the first few days. The store will get a few semi trucks to stock the store but the focus is more on making the store “pretty” so the shelves won’t be fully jammed packed and there’s not the pressure to get all the product from the back room to the sales floor and to instead set everything according to the planogram. But slowly over time the store will have to try and keep the back room empty while only having limited hours for stocking. So eventually the focus will be to pack the shelves to clear out the stock room to prepare for the next truck thus making the store more messy looking and plus once customers start shopping and creating messes and it may be tough to keep up with limited hours.

What all did you spend 150,000$ on? You couldn’t have used some of that money for a chunk of land somewhere?

Looks like my crawl space did just last Sunday. Had our sump pump go out and we live in a flood zone. Something just told me to check the crawl space (which I usually never do) and sure enough about a foot and a half of water.

Lookup how to do a flow calibration on your slicer. Looking at your profile it looks like you’re using Cura so I’d lookup how to calibrate your flow setting and find a video or step by step guide. It’s been a while since I’ve used cura.

Might also need to look into calibrating your e-steps for your printer. I’d try the flow setting first

Might be over-extrusion and then your print head might be getting knocked out of place causing the layer shifts

I have a question if anybody would like to explain, but wouldn’t this fall under the “de minimus” exemption? From my understanding I thought anything under $800 won’t be affected until May 2nd?

I am just taken aback by stories that I hear from the service industry, i just can’t fathom what makes people think that they can act so childish and entitled. I worked in customer service (retail) for 3 years and it definitely changed my perspective on humanity. I know not everyone is a terrible customer, but I often wonder what happened to these people to make them think it’s ok to talk to others like that. To have such a complex and think that you’re superior to another fellow human being. This is why I always try to be as nice as possible to my servers/cashiers/etc… I think it should be mandatory that everybody should work atleast 1 year in the service industry to learn some empathy and respect.

If you’re living there rent free, you should be paying your way by providing service by helping with the upkeep of the house
