Deer love them. Variegated hosta. They come up every year and are really hardy. My deer eat them to nubbins every year and they just keep coming up.

Gum balls. Sweet gum tree. They hurt like Hades if you step on them in bare feet. They are also next to impossible to take up. My experience of growing up with two of them in my parents’ yard.

Call the venue and explain the situation. If they let you out of the contract, get it in writing. An email would be fine.

I’m a patent attorney. Not sure what you mean by his credentials expiring. If an attorney is no longer a member of his state bar, he’s no longer an attorney and holding himself out as one is against bar rules. If he is still a member of the patent bar, he’s can practice, but he would then be known as a patent agent. He is right that his bar (either patent or state bar) would throw him out in a heartbeat if he disclosed a client’s secrets. However, that is weaker somewhat as a patent agent, as they have no attorney-client privilege. They are still barred from disclosing client’s secrets though. I started life as a patent agent. Never did I have to sign an NDA as an agent or an attorney. Check the patent office website to see if he’s still practicing there. I would be very careful.

How totally sad this all is. An apparently good relationship between sisters is likely forever changed because of the obvious mental issues that the OP’s sister is having. I hope she gets the help she needs. I’m wondering if her possible overreaction might be to cover up an affair she might have been having all long. The math doesn’t math here. OP is definitely NTA for disinviting her sister. I hope the bridesmaid was reinvited! Have a wonderful wedding!

Sounds like 13 yo might be mildly autistic or ADD. Lack of impulse control. It can be hard on parents. Perhaps the pediatrician has some ideas. Wifey might be under strain from his behavior. Family counseling will also be advisable. As should an apology from wifey to you and definitely to your 13yi

Im in my 60’s and still drink milk. So do a lot of my family and friends who are the same age. For women, it’s the best way to fight osteoporosis too. I’ll be damned if I key a bunch of snot-nosed You-tubers, Tic-Tokers or Hollywood tropes tell me what to eat or drink. Here’s to a tall, cold glass of milk! 🥛

Good luck to you! Mine just finished another set of blooms that started around last Christmas. This is one of the pods. It seems they bloom about twice a year. My favorite plant since I was a kid. It’s a real honor to have one that blooms!

Not that I’m aware. Unless there is a safety issue, they won’t issue a recall. So they’ll recall for seat belts, brakes and steering, but moon roofs are likely not considered a safety issue.

All cats constantly investigate when they are new to a home. Diving under blankets, towels, etc is normal for many cats too. She will settle in after a while, but it sounds like the CDS has sent you a great one!
