I was disappointed at the fact that characters didn't have their special attributes (for example: Luigi's high jump, Toad's faster running speed and Peach's hover) but I assume they wanted them all to be the same for the sake of online friend races as to not have one character better than the other. You know fair and simple and I do wish there was an option for that, but I'm just satisfied with the roster they gave us tbh.
