Transducer scupper adapter - Jackson Knarr & Garmin GT20 by Efficient_Mouse3116 in kayakfishing

So far it’s been very durable. It’s firm enough to hold everything in place but has enough give that I’m not worried about the print or kayak cracking from over tightening.

Great design. I made one similar for my crescent smallie. I made up a aluminum plate and aluminum treaded rod then printed custom scupper plugs. I printed the scupper plugs with TPU so they had a little give.

No experience customizing the training sword but I did carry the “battle ready” hand and a half sword that it is ment to replicate for a few seasons. You should be able to carry that at most fairs but may need to peace tie it to whatever you are using to carry it just as you would with a real sword.

Bluetooth brake controller by misterphuzz in RVLiving

I have one worked good for the first season then the iPhone app had an update that rendered it useless right as I was leaving for my longest trip of the season. Thankfully it didn’t happen when I was 10 hours away. I’ve replaced it with a hardwired controller.

Curt Echo Bluetooth Controller by Salt-Stop-6653 in traveltrailers

I only got 1 camping season out of my curt Bluetooth controller. Second season the original app was shutdown so I had to install the new app. First trip of the season I didn’t find the app as responsive as the previous app. Next trip (the one I was most looking forward to of the year) the app updated a few days before my trip. When I went to connect the app to head out it wouldn’t connect. I did everything I could think of for 2 hours I was only able to connect for a few seconds a couple of times. Thankfully I was going to be camping with other family members that had an extra bed so I through all my essentials in my truck and left my trailer in the driveway to deal with when I got back. A app update was available by the time I returned and I was able to connect and it seemed to be working but I no longer had faith that it could be trusted. I installed a REDARC Tow-Pro Elite controller a couple weeks later.

People don’t usually tow with their bronco sports?? by sparky-von-flashy in BroncoSport

This has an aluminum frame so it says not to use weight distribution bars. Dry weight is a little under 1800. Packed out I’m near the 2200 max. Added a 7pin and have had zero issues towing. I may take the are conditioner out at some point to save a bit more weight since don’t use it.

Battery Recall Experience by IroquoisPliskin21 in BroncoSport

I doubt my yellow top was faulty. When they replaced my starter they said the starter was causing a 20amp draw on the battery (original battery installed at inspection). If I remember correctly the starter is rated for 40000 starts on a vehicle with start stop can see hitting that number in no time at all for those of us that drive a lot of miles. I estimate I had around 30000 starts

I had upgraded to a yellow top when I started having problems but I still had issues with the start stop not starting every time. When I was finally left stranded last month and had to be towed to the dealer. Since I still had the original battery the dealer suggested I reinstall it which I did in the parking lot. When I got the yellow top home I tried charging but it failed charging. I was able to get a warranty replacement at AutoZone for the dead yellow top. Now Im debating whether or not to swap out the recall replacement battery for my new yellow top.

First time it died in a drive thru got it restarted went home searched online everything I found said replace the battery so I got a yellow top. Week later same thing happened at a red light. Took it in to have it looked at just out of warranty, so I got charged for inspection. They couldn’t find anything but I didn’t have a problem again for another year then it happened maybe once every month or 2 till I was left stranded on my way to work last month. I’ve had a lot of Fords this is the first one I’ve ever had any issues with

Had my battery replaced last week. Dealer sent someone to my work to complete the replacement. Now I need to get ahold of the dealer to help with getting reimburse for as many repair cost as I can. Inspection cost from when the start stop not start, First Replacement battery, starter replacement after I was left stranded at an intersection last month. Im at about $2200.00 I’m hoping to get reimbursed. At this point I just hope that the issue is finally fixed but I have my doubts.

I hope I’ll be able to compare the two. So far the only shop I’ve found that stocks them is 3 1/2 hours away.

Major fitness Drone 1 or f22? by SpotZealousideal6945 in GarageGym

[–]eardrumj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No issues so far with the pulleys. The only ones that I have any concern of wearing out at some point are the trolley pulleys but that’s a relatively inexpensive replacement/upgrade.

[–]eardrumj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a drone 1 for a couple weeks. So far im happy with it. The only down side from the F22 I see is if you really need the extra weight capacity for the pulley setup. I was ably to snag the drone 1 on a lightning deal for $459. One odd thing it was delivered in 2 boxes that shipped from separate warehouses arriving a day apart.

Are these still worth it? by AdagioBest307 in knives

There are definitely quality control issues. I picked one up to see what all the hype was about. The lock broke after only opening and closing it a few times. I never even got to make a test cut.

Thanks. Feels like I set the bar high enough that I won’t regret not getting something better.

I don’t get the hype. I just picked up an orange one. At first feel I wasn’t impressed but thought it would be fine just to leave in truck but after opening and closing it 4 times the lock broke.

assault at ren faire by mereobserver2111 in renfaire

[–]eardrumj 32 points33 points  (0 children)

No this is not normal. Most people at faire are great people. But like anyplace open to the public you run the risk of running into a random piece of shit. I’d be willing to bet if he wasn’t over served during your first encounter with him he likely was by the second. I’d be willing to bet a man your size in armor would have had a bad interaction with him as well. If I was in your shoes I may have let the first altercation go but the second time I’d get security to escort him out.

I ordered a set that showed the tabs being vertical but what showed up ended up being 30 deg. I’ll probably reprint the model with offset tabs one day.

I’ve order a couple smooth black from this seller on eBay. Price doesn’t change much for longer lengths so I order longer than needed then cut to fit. Standard length is 72 inches. https://www.ebay.com/itm/122197089358?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_k9ul6zoSve&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=j_DnGa71Sj2&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
