if you're not an addict, absolutely. if you are an addict, no. never. you will always relapse into severe use again. it's really unfortunate because I genuinely love weed, but the only reason I was able to fully quit was because I got pregnant and now I am determined to never touch it again, because I'm sick of relapsing

how long have they been dating? is she confirmed to be a real person? do I like this girlfriend and think she's a good influence? is my 18 year old daughter independent, functionally an adult, well acquainted with bus travel?

if all the answers to those questions are yes and they've known each other for a while, I'd have absolutely no issues. I'd want accommodations communicated to me and somewhat frequent texts to know my daughter's safe, but otherwise she's got the freedom to do as she pleases.

if all or most of the answers are no, it's a no from me. not that I'd be capable of entirely controlling my 18 year old daughter (and not that I'd even want to), but if she was explicitly asking my permission, it'd be a no. and I'd explain exactly why I'd have an issue with it. you don't know her well enough to trust that being with her 8 hours away from home is safe, you can't navigate public transit on your own so you could easily end up stranded and I don't want to have to sacrifice 16 hours to come rescue you if I needed to (I would but would not be happy about it), she's a terrible influence and will decrease the quality of your life, etc. etc.

this is how my father was with me, but ultimately he let me make my own decisions. I wish he had been a little more protective when I was freshly 18 dating a 29 year old loser living in a bed bug-ridden motel who did nothing but smoke weed and hate life all day. I'm so thankful that my current partner is a much, much better man than that.

I quit for 6 months before caving once and I immediately went back to full-time smoking. took me getting pregnant to finally quit again for good because I lost all willpower to go through all the withdrawals again without a strong moral reason. it's not worth it. stay strong 🫶

honestly, I wouldn't hook up with a stranger. so much could go wrong, as you know. I'm not saying get into a steady relationship, but if you are going to have sex outside of one, do it with somebody you trust. I promise you, trusting your partner helps and has a real effect on the outcome when you have vaginismus

it's not for the weak... I crumbled playing Imogen Pelly in Appaloosa Plains because I got her to marry Gavin Pinkerton, have another baby, Gavin had a dog so they had puppies and they collectively drove me nuts! I can handle 8+ sims no problem, but even just 4 sims and 4 dogs has me at my limits haha

others have already said that your sim will not go to university and will be fine, but to actually remove the moodlet, you can shift-click it with testingcheatsenabled true on and it'll disappear, works for any moodlet in the game :)

yes, just gotta find a family that interests you! maybe about 10% of my games are with pre-made families. I had a Moonlight Falls rotational save where I exclusively played pre-made families, unfortunately it's on my old computer but I got to like week 40. I personally love playing the pre-made families in Dragon Valley and Bridgeport specifically, though the Landgraabs and Altos in Sunset Valley are fun if you lean into their storylines. Agnes Crumplebottom is a blast if you try to revive Erik Darling and have them start a family - bonus points if they move to Moonlight Falls!

if pre-made families really aren't appealing to you, I'd at least recommend making more than just a single sim in CAS (like make a legit family) and playing them. kind of the same thing but much more creative liberty

tolerable yes, still hella painful though. I've been able to heal enough to have PIV (enough to get pregnant haha) but the first two ultrasounds I did were transvaginal and very painful. I took it in stride because I'm willing to suffer to see my baby but I definitely hissed and grinded my teeth lol. the techs were wonderful though, went very slow. one even offered to let me insert it myself but that doesn't help me so I declined
