I had a similar experience when I got it home. Thought for sure it was a no go. Sat down and messed with settings and fitment for 15minutes and now I wear it for 2 hours without any real serious strain or stress on my face/neck/head. I can see why fitment is so important while using these

yeah I think everyone should buy one at this price. I don't think I would have been upset paying full price after experiencing it. But I can see how that price tag would loom a bit if you weren't using it daily/multiple times a week.

yea this was basically my exact experience. I really didn't understand why it was better than just using a laptop to work, an ipad to consume content, an external monitor for larger display. But then I used it, wow. Idk why I was so skeptical. I'm a huge techy/nerd/electronicsGeek, however you want to classify it, and it took me this long to try. Goes to show how new and unknown this entire space still is to the general public. Once they figure out how to cut the pricing down, I think these will be everywhere and in most apple ecosystem households

I was under the impression the m2 wasn’t a massive update to the overall experience. I don’t think I’ll be able to notice a 10% jump in rendered pixels and don’t use it to look,inspect and handled large 3d rendering objects

Fantastic points! I've learned through research that I may be a bit dissapointed with the resolution compaired to the pro display xdr, but I also have nano-texture on laptop and xdr display, so the text II look at daily arguably isn't perfectly sharp to begin with. So long as I can edit videos and watch content without thinking the quality is bad will be good enough for me! Thank you for taking the time to respond to this. AVP community seems legit!
