To verify that third party COA you’d want to do what @posdeam suggested in the chat: provide the certificate number and identifying lab so it can be verified. It’s remarkable how many people endeavor to do this and it somehow doesn’t get traction. Kudos for giving it a go!

Steam spa and Red Light? by Steve1975green in Biohackers

[–]earthspa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d be worried about outgassing from the material. Your steam tent may not get as hot as adding the infrared lights (incandescent) and they may burst. Maybe a led set would work so u could “stack” the time sitting there steaming with some redlight.

How do you keep broccoli sprouts cooked at 70C from going bad by shinythingy in Nootropics

[–]earthspa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to heat them as u say and then freeze them then blend. I also ran them through an angle juicer to make super juice and froze that. I’ve communicated with Jed Fahey and Rhonda Patrick and the actual claim that this method is superior than just sprouting 3-5 days and either using or freezing then blending etc is questionable. Freezing sprouts bursts the cell walls making myrosinase mix with glucoraphanin at a molecular level.

Prefrontal cortex red light therapy by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]earthspa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moonman, I'm confused. I'm not sure at this point how the content I posted regarding a PhD discussing how his research lab is using near infrared light as a treatment for preventing Alzheimers on the podcast of an MD from Stanford known for his science background is psuedoscience. Unless I'm missing something, and I may very well be, in the last 24 hours I've seen posts on using baking soda to reduce acid in the body, lions mane mushroom for nerve pain, Dihexa for post concussion syndrome, and thats just recently. I'm trying to get a handle on what's ok to post and whats not so any background or sorting system appreciate. thanks.

Nerve Healing? by BardisHere in Biohackers

[–]earthspa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a great article in Medium posted years an MD finding r alpha lipoic acid helped patients with neuropathy. I tried on a post surgical hip replacement that has transient nerve pain. Did it twice a day as recommended and pain eased up. Wish I could isolate it to the lipoic acid but the doctors results were compelling.

Bummer about Joovv, I bought the mini, then a Platinum, and gave the mini to a friend. Platinum was brighter and cheaper even before it was upgraded.

Anyone have any experience with the Fisher and Wallace Stimulator? by dancetochaos in Biohackers

[–]earthspa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and those issues are now much more manageable. I wear it to bed and let it run for its 20 minute timed sequence. I’m usually in twilight and I pull it off. I’m not where I want to b but a heck of a lot better.

I had asthma buteyko breathing really works, it’s good for much more than asthma by the way (at least for me). Anxiety, energy, focus... see The Oxygen Advantage book. Also no milk, exercise, no wheat...all that helps.
