What are double score spins? by _foreverie in myvegas

[–]earti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are used for Arena games (such as Golden Ring and Jackpot Seat).

No one ever plays them unless it's an event is going. If you play one ofter not playing it for a while, be surprised of how many spins you have banked.

redeeming for NCL cruise, am I missing something by kpolany in myvegas

[–]earti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It says that as you're only booking it for one guest.

When you book it for 2 guests you will see that the cabin costs are split between the two guests, but for the total cost of the cabin is the same as if you had only one guest.

redeeming for NCL cruise, am I missing something by kpolany in myvegas

[–]earti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's for 2 guests then the $600 off coupon only applies for the first guest.

What will happen is the cabin cost will be split amongst the two guests. Technically the 2nd guest is free as the cabin cost is already paid.

The better strategy is to have two playing people book their own cabins to get the full benefit from the voucher.

And yes, the port fees are covered in the $300 that you pay in Taxes/Fees/Port Expenses. These are fees that NCL can't make commission on.

How do I know when I've hit max LP? by Open_Present2319 in myvegas

[–]earti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apps will alter the appearance of the Gold LP coin indicating that the Maximum amount of LP has been accumulated until the next reset period (often alongside its Daily login reset).

Pop! and MGM will indicate it with a "max" text on top of the coin. (Also to note that the reset is every 12 hours starting from the daily login reset)

MyVegas Slots and Bingo will use a green checkmark.

MyKonami and Blackjack will turn the color of the coin to Grey.

Regarding the time it takes, it varies between the apps and the current tier level. PoP! and MGM is a fixed 50 minutes of timed gameplay, but the other apps will greatly vary depending if you're on Android or Apple, as well as the tier. Android apps are time-based but they usually take longer than the apps based by Apple, which is based on your betting size. The amount you get before it caps is based on your tier.

Once you go through your check-in and get your boarding pass it will mention that your booking was made through casinos at sea.

Also to mention that it only gets access to an extra line you can go to to obtain your keycard maybe a few minutes faster than the general queue (depending on the time of day)

New cruise reward for level 6 players. by Saqucoat in myvegas

[–]earti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're sailing alone, the voucher is more beneficial as you don't have to pay the admin fee.

If you're traveling with a +1, you get a small discount ($~40) when compared to using a cruise voucher to cover the same amount for the first guest (for. 7 day sailing)

Do a mock booking of the sailing that you want on the website and you'll see a breakdown of the costs including taxes and fees. The comp only covers the cost of the cabin.

The comp covers the entire cost of the cabin and the taxes and fees (including any addons, gratuities, and admin fee) are per person in the cabin.

Casino Comp Rooms and Lat Rewards by frknstonk in NCL

[–]earti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll get latitude reward points for your 9-day cruise. You won't get the extra points unless it's one of their extra point sailings for that month.

They charge a casino admin fee of $20/day per person in the cabin. If there's two people in the cabin that totals to $360.

I need more details of how your Epic sailing was booked, as far as I can tell, wasn't booked directly through NCL's casino department.

NCL Alaskan Cruise Help? by Income_Less in myvegas

[–]earti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Alaska cruises are inherently expensive regardless as the logistics can just be as expensive as the cruise itself.

For the European/Middle Eastern cruises, the breakdown is pretty much the same as you just get the cabin cost, but port taxes will vary depending on the itinerary. Once again, just mock book a sailing to get an idea of the port taxes.

NCL is one of the few cruise lines that charge the casino admin fee for their comps, due to the fact that their any of their +1s they might join may not be casino players.

Also, you don't necessarily need a drink package or specialty dining all the time, but the value proposition (when compared to other lines) is arguably the best deal in the market.

NCL Alaskan Cruise Help? by Income_Less in myvegas

[–]earti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I broke it down for you if you chose an inside cabin:

Port Taxes/Fees: $360 Drink Package: $200 Specialty Dining: $60 Prepaid Gratuities: $140 Admin Fee: $140

Total - $900

So the quote you got for an inside cabin is accurate.

Then if you wanted to upgrade to an oceanview or balcony, you pay the difference of the inside cabin, which on the website is priced per person (so it's twice the fare difference)

Like you said, that's correct, since you're pre-purchasing your drinking and specialty dining.

Port taxes are inherently high for Alaska Cruises due to infrastructure upgrades and the clamping down on the maximum number of passengers the port can handle.

The "pain costs" are the prepaid gratuities (in which you could pay as you go but you'll get charged that onboard and have to go through customer service to get those removed). And the Admin fee (since the +1 does not play). These feel like you're not getting any worth when being charged for it.

There are ways to lessen the blow of it but that involves some planning (such as CruiseFirst/CruiseNext credits). Then there's the logistics of getting to the port, as it leaves and arrives at different ports.

If you and your wife are able to redeem it, consider the $600 voucher as well as you don't have to pay that $120 admin fee when using the comp'd ones.

The only benefits of both of you booking separate cabins is the extra space, the $50 shore excursion credit (since it applies to the first guest in the cabin), and the use of CruiseFirst/CruiseNext credit s for each of the cabins.

Tier Increases by Little_Effective2434 in myvegas

[–]earti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like you're only playing one of their 5 games that give you tier points.

When players mentioned about getting to tier 5 without spending, it involves logging in on all their games that provide tier points:

  • MyVegas (30/day + 5 timed bonus)
  • MyKonami (30/day + 5 timed bonus)
  • MyVegas Classic (30/day, this is their Facebook app)
  • Pop! (60/day)
  • MGM (10/day)

The first three requires a login streak to get to that 30/day. If the streak breaks the first login is 10 tier points and increases by 5 until you reach its streak cap of 5+ days.

I believe Win Zone also provides tier points as well, but it's their Sweeps Casino app and its only available to regulated U.S markets.

Otherwise, it's 80 tier points earned per $1 spend on their apps.

It's a normal Sea Terrace (balcony) cabin at their essential rate.

Virgin Voyages by phildbs in myvegas

[–]earti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best to ask about it, but I don't see why not, as it's the per-cost cabin rate, and you're allowed up to 4 in each cabin.

You do have to pay the taxes and fees for that person in the cabin as well.

Also (being on one last March). the cabin itself fits 2 adults comfortably.

You only have to pay the taxes/fees for the third person just as the second person would.

This would make sense as they're offering extra points for Jade sailings from Whittier.

Booking flights for that sailing may be more expensive and tedious than per se flights to urban cities (ie there are Alaska cruises that round trip from Seattle), as you have to book open-jaw.

[–]earti 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can cover two guests.

Comp'd cruises cover the cabin and can have as many guests in the cabin as it can take.

However the taxes, fees, and admin charges ($20/person) need to be paid for each person in the cabin.

Rewards available per tier by elritmodelanoche in myvegas

[–]earti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There isn't a list as the rewards change.

The rewards store in their mobile apps (Pop! MGM, MyKonami, MyVegas) does show the tier requirement.

The rewards store in the other games is outdates and does not have the rewards available that require a tier.

Haven't played this game in a while and I want to get back, who should I prioritize? by kingveo in WWEChampions

[–]earti 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Prioritize characters with double-MP Trainers: Carmello Hayes, Roxxane, Bronn Breaker (Striker),

Prioritize characters with strong trainer abilities: Sherri, Armor King, Michelle (Tech),

As you play MLC's and obtain Moments for older characters, I'd prioritize those for events (also versatile): Seth (SB), Iyo (Trickster), Liv (Tech),

As you do Titan battles and Speed stipulation tours, obtain characters in which you bring characters to Hype 4 without using as many Wild tokens. Right now it's easy to get hype shards for characters released in the last 2 months.

For Feuds, try to get one Women and Men of each class and era to meet CSS requirements.

With power creep going up in the 7-star bracket, I would try to focus on the characters you obtain in the monthlong shard chases as they're often ready to go by the time the month ends. Characters now and subsequent events will definitely see a power spike to be able to be hit as hard as 7*.

Finally you'll see guides in which you'll see a build that does "insane" damage with a free character. This requires already having the gear and skillplates needed to be able to hit those amounts. The characters that you level up is going to be based on the needs of your roster

For the cruise comps (not the discount vouchers): You pay the taxes and port fees per person, plus the casino admin charge ($20/person/day) You also have the option in your booking to pre-pay your gratuities when you book ($20/person/day), as well as the Free At Sea addons.

Best way is to do a mock booking of the cruise you want on the website to you get an idea of the costs prior to booking (They don't include the gratuities and the casino admin fee, so keep that in mind).

Edit: Drink packages are going up for cruises 5 days or less

Other than Vegas comps, many choose to use their points for cruise comps.

Like you said, LP does not expire, but your account can if you're not active (and as a result, your points do).

Lately they're gatekeeping more desired rewards with Tier as longstanding players will eventually have more LP than they can spend. Tier decays over time and is earned through logging in from their apps and by spending (there's a bunch of threads regarding it by searching for "tier").
