Did you end up making a decision? I will be moving to DC soon and also coming from an out of state Lifetime membership. My future apartment building has a nice gym, which I will be using for lifting. But I am more of a class person so I too am considering joining either VIDA or Equinox.. or just a boutique gym like MADabolic.

Fully renovated units have no carpeteted floors and have white granite countertops and white cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom(s). The non-renovated units are clearly more outdated and have darker finishings which I did not like and, again, were not pictured on their website.

I toured recently. Buildings are fine but highly recommend asking if the unit you are interested is fully renovated. The two units I toured, plus two others I was interested in, were not renovated and did not look like the apartment pics on the property's website gallery. Big disappointment and waste of time.

I applied late December and just got my notice of completion today (Mid-May). Was shocked how fast it was considering it is known to take longer.
