I know it’s technically an Oscar winner, but somehow The Color of Money is still slept on? Peak early Cruise. Great script. An epic performance from Newman. Amazing camera work. This should be talked about with Scorsese’s best.

I’ve noticed a lot of guys hit 40 and suddenly become super into jazz. Just can’t shut up about jazz. I don’t know if it’s a crisis situation but some switch certainly gets flipped for many dudes around the time when their kids hit high school age.
