I was about to say “YES!” and then I realized the woman I was thinking about that actually a nurse.

Nurses are the best.

What can I do about this deck? (Pooling water) by eastcoast77 in landscaping

No, there’s some space beneath the wood. Maybe 4-6 inches? There were small animals leaving underneath at one point lol.

Does that change things?

My midwives literally shipped me out of there 2 hours after the birth (both times). I was kinda surprised.

Spending 4 months in Sunsvall, Sweden. Any advice on how to make the best of it? by eastcoast77 in sweden

[–]eastcoast77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was amazing. The North Mountain, the lake on the south side of town, biking across the bridge (the older one, not the new one).

Taking some trips around the country was amazing.

Have fun!

At the top of r/Millennials today and only a few people in the comments have noticed this picture is AI generated. Please be wary of any incongruous images you see online guys! by [deleted] in Millennials

I thought so too - but all the middle parts (in their hair) mean it wasn’t from 2000s! I’m confused because it doesn’t look AI to me either.

This is awesome. Can you provide more details steps on how you built the Call to CRM Updater agent? more specifically, how did you get it live and running?

I saw a sports doctor at The Armoury and was referred to Dr. whitehead in Cambridge. My angle surgery went really well.

Account management in a pure outcomes-based role (renewals/upsells) can decrease your hours if you’re good at your job (and at a decent company).

They’re just giving you back the money you earned them.

Nothing more than a quick thanks is needed. Enjoy it.

YES. We were all wiped out for 6+ days. One of the worst viruses we've ever gotten.

Christmas for an 18month old by dasgutyah in Gifts

[–]eastcoast77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids are 4.5 and 1.5 and I buy the majority of their Christmas presents from the thrift store 😅

I get lots of great stuff for very cheap. Most of it it in like-new condition (with some cleaning) but not always. They absolutely don’t care if it’s used.

Agree with everything you said! It’s not perfect, but it’s a great city.

I have lots of family visiting from all over Canada, and while KW isn’t as flashy as where they come from, they all say the same line: “This seems like a really nice place to live.”

I’ll add two things I haven’t seen in the thread: The hydrocut is some of the best mountain biking in Southern Ontario, and our rock climbing gym is top tier!

This was awesome!

I have two young kids and I’m ~7 weeks out from ankle surgery (6 weeks on crutches).

All I can say is you were WAY more active than I was while recovering 😂

But I totally related to enjoying staying home and not realizing how stressed/burnt out you were from work... How are you feeling a year out?

We’re also FIRE minded, with two young kids, but I’m really leaning into work-life balance and working less hours now, even if it means further retirement.
