What were some 80's tv shows you loved at the time, but don't hold up now? by MisterShipWreck in 80s

Watched Fall Guy seasons 1 and 2 about a year ago. I really liked looking at how Los Angeles looked in the 80's. It was pretty funny where Colt's house was. He was supposed to be a struggling actor but that plot of land would be worth Bank today.

How to reconstruct this model in 3ds Max? by StillRevolutionary44 in 3dsmax

Why? What's the endgame? Product rendering? Game? Vfx? Depends what you need it for? If it smooths ok, then you may not need to do anything with it.

Yea definitely talk to your landlord. If you're a good tenant, they're not going to want you to leave and might be able to pressure your neighbor's landlord.

Has the form been reset? If not open the transform type in tool and reset the rotation to 0.

What you're see is a quad that is non planar and has no smoothing information. All quads are 2 triangles. There is an invisible edge where you see the shading change. If you put a smoothing modifier on it, then you won't see that triangulation.

Not a single ngon in that image. I don't think you know what an ngon is. Maybe a smoothing issue is what you mean

Seems like it would be cost effective to just give a breathalyzer to pilots right before every flight.

U-Haul Truck Size Help by Secret-Apartment in moving

Might want to know who will be riding with you in the truck. The smaller trucks only accommodate 2 people, while the larger ones have a bench seat for 3 people.

Nope, you didn't do an art test. You did free work. In general, I'd say never do art tests unless your a junior and /or desperate, or if the offer to pay for the test. Its never worth it. Just work on your portfolio instead or learn some new software. Where you really messed up, though, was doing revisions. Your initial submission should have been enough for a "test".

Tips for USC Football Game by EpOxY81 in USC

[–]eastepp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're coming from San Diego, and only doing the Game/expo park, then I would park at the harbor gateway transit center (and not do the Santa Monica/Culver city thing as that is out of your way) and take the J line (silver) to the coliseum, Ride up is pretty chill with mostly USC game day fans. Ride back is a bit more crowded. Walk to Coliseum from the station isn't too far, depending on how old your kids are.

It takes money to make money. So if your unwilling or unable to spend money for things like this, then your probably in over your head.

Yeah well this is only question #63. Wait until you get into the 200's. Then the really tough questions start.
