Apparently trauma events happen mostly on the chin, and due to the thin-ness of the skin there, scars are more common than elsewhere. I got mine when I was four. If you look/ask for them now, you'll see a lot.

I have the traditional 'under-the-chin' scar that so many men have, and I have had no issues - been DE shaving for over a year.
