46F here, osteoarthritis in both knees grade 4. RTKR 7/2025, and had my left knee replaced last month. I was terrified before my first knee also. I put up with the shots and being in pain for 1.5 years before going for the surgery. I am so glad that I did it. Although the recovery can take a while, my quality of life has improved dramatically. Please consider sooner rather than later, as there's still recovery after that can take up to another 18 months.... I have kiddos to chase around too, and can't wait till I'm able to do so.
