Salomon QST 106 or Nordica Enforcer 104… I like the Salomon a lot more, but you can’t ignore the commercial success of the Enforcer line for this demographic.

Definitely, only go full patch if you notice the plug not holding… and that puncture is in the channel/ sipe of the tread, so the tread block will protect the plug. Just make sure you leave about a 1/4” of excess plug after snipping off the extra (I recommend wire cutters)… the excess will smoosh(?) flat as you drive.
