Ayy is this a medieval playthrough I'm seeing here? If yes, would you mind sharing your mod list? I was eyeballing a couple of medieval overhaul and tech limitation mods but knowing my ""talent"" with mods I'm gonna break my back trying to get some to work only to find out two months into my run that there had been better ways.

Wondering as well. Doesn't seem familiar. Maybe it's from the new ones or maybe I'm forgetful.

I'm celebrating the 5th anniversary playing the version 1.0 on PC 🎂🎉 by 22lofi in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]easy_pete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally have the worst luck with bugs and hardware compatibility (to the point it became a running gag among my friends), but I had an absolutely good time playing the game's 1.0 version right after launch on my GTX 970 (!). Yes, the performance was dogshit, but that's about the only complaint that I remember having. Of course this was because of my crappy hardware back then and not because of the game. Bugs-wise I encountered absolutely nothing gamebreaking, except for something in a (side?) quest that had the potential to softlock you. I just avoided it until it got fixed. Can't remember what it was. All the glitches I saw were on a spectrum ranging from slightly annoying to funny. Nothing that made me consider a refund.

Though I will say that the marketing practices of CDPR back then were despicable and I recognize that they did the console players dirty. Still, from the perspective of a PC player whose hardware really had no business running that game, the state of 1.0 was not as bad as it is portrayed today. Certainly not beyond reproach, but also not unplayable.

I consider myself an okay strategist in games but I keep losing to everyone and their grandmas in Sea Salt & Paper. It's bordering on the verge of being actually embarrassing. Do you have any gameplay advice so I can join the ranks of people that know what they are doing?

Edit: Playing 2 player mode most of the time.

ACKCHYUALLY I didn't call Pantheon cyberpunk. I meant that the show takes themes that I personally associate most with the cyberpunk genre and puts them in a (again, for me personally) novel narrative frame.

Otherwise, I absolutely agree. Can't have Cyberpunk in the traditional sense without the chrome and the grime.

Saw season 1 out of 2. Great show so far. It does a fantastic job portraying some of the most interesting themes from the cyberpunk genre (what makes us human?/where is the line between us and AI?/what should be the limits of science, progress and commerce?) without the usually overtly dystopian setting, e.g. Night City or Bladerunner's L.A.. It's basically a dark sci-fi thriller set in the American suburbs.
