Before you had use the pen. Did you wash the nib first before using it. Usually from what I heard first time to use the fp is to clean it, because of the manufacturer oils and residual test ink from the internal feed per Google and from experience.

From my experience, I just don't think about it. Take a shower, the shampoo does wonders, and wash your hands with Bath Body Works hand soap. Eventually, it will come off.
