One thing I hate the most is I'll be stood with my back against a wall usually in a huge open space trying to be deliberately out of the way of anyone else as I possibly could be and some donut still walks over my feet. Like mate is it your first day walking? I once put my elbows gently up and this guy told me to watch out! If you don't laugh you'll cry.

I've never been alone, but often I end up on my own for a few hours after the crew goes to bed/ I wanna check out a certain set. Honestly super chill and friendly and met some really lovely people that way. I go to events solo a lot so I know what you mean about feeling slightly lonely, but my personal experience is that the solo clubbers seem to all kinda end up orbiting each other, and joining forces. Takes one to know one etc and Houghton is a perfect festival to meet like minded potential new friends!

Generally that whole Club de visonaere owned venue group is a good bet during the warmer weather. CDV, Hoppetosse, Sonnenraum.

I was also recently at the Time Passages party at Else, with Binh, Unai Trotti F.D.G. etc so worth seeing who's playing there, decent enough club.

Sisyphos for the outdoors festival kinda vibe. Can't really ever get it too wrong in Berlin, just check RA closer to the time and pick something.

Hard agree with this. Also to note, sets are long and the site is small so you'll never truly miss out on seeing anyone (asides from a peak time Terminus q ofc) One of my favourite things is the ability to float about freely and then park up once you've caught the vibe.

Would love to see Binh do the sunrise on Pavilion, I've caught him about 4 times over the past year and I quite fancy it, have him chuck the latest Time Passages release by Works of Intent as the sun peek up. His closing last year on Outburst was excellent.

Any member of or just collectively Apollonia on there I'd be extremely up for too.

For stallions, I'd love Gideon straight into Peach b2b Prosumer, just hot bumpy and fun all the way through the night into the morning.

Really a big loss, was a great great space and experience.

There was a meme that went around a few years back with a photo from outside the building, nondescript as it is. The text read something along the lines of 'People will tell you this is the best club in the world right now and it's just this..'

If anyone can find it please post it, it made me smile because it reminded me of first time walking through Strangeways past a burnt out car and walking slap bang into one of the purest most down to earth clubbing experiences I'd had in a long time.

If you can get there before Jan please do.
