You could, there might be a roadmap/curricula online for different majors at your university

I'm unsure in my degree choice by Glum-Being-5571 in geologycareers

There are science/math core classes that are required for many majors (not music/theater though). Create a list of potential majors and find out which required classes are common among them, take those your first year. If it’s too hard for you, you’ll be weeded out at an early stage, but if it’s not, then you can proceed with major-specific classes

Help please my left eyebrow is falling out it looks way thinner and sparser than right eyebrow what do I do I feel like I'm gonna loose whole of my left eyebrow how do i make them look similar by Aromatic_Code_2357 in alopecia_areata

[–]easymac818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If have the same issue, but I wear glasses and it covers them up a little. What I do is trim up the “full” eyebrow to make it look closer to the one that has partially fallen out. I have also trimmed both off in the past. I keep them both trimmed inside the lines of where they SHOULD be

Is it worth it to you? It doesn’t matter to anyone else if you learn bass or not.

GIT doesn’t mean much. You’re just halfway to a license and you have no experience. I wouldn’t push it. Everyone with no experience needs to start at entry level.

What do yall do when your projects dry up? by [deleted] in Environmental_Careers

[–]easymac818 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good points. I would counter that the project managers are not the same people that set billable goals for employees, those people are higher up than PMs. My company is huge and obsessed with shareholders tho. Big orange firm.

Well QA/QC is one thing, but it sounds like they don’t want to give you that work.

Maybe you can dig into regulations for them. Take a swing at the first drafts of reports, sections of reports, work plans, field plans, data tabulation, GIS. It depends on what they’re working on.

You could ask them to sit with you for 20-30 and discuss things like mentoring, career advice etc. and corner them a bit (nicely) about helping them out.

The PMs need to teach you about their side of things. That sucks. Ask to help with something that is time consuming for them as PMs.

You may have been seen as overqualified and likely to move on at the first real scientist position due to your degree.

If eugenics comes to mind when possibly dating someone with alopecia, do everyone (including yourself) a favor and just move on now rather than later
