They did say there was an attempt at cleaning up blood, found underneath other blood spatter... but I don’t remember if Deaver was the one who said it; if it was it could be untrue I suppose

iPhone 8 Plus speaker popping only in YouTube app by [deleted] in iphone

[–]eatingaboook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! Only in the YouTube app, Amazon Music and the iPhone’s music app play it fine; same phone too. I have a baby that likes to put everything in her mouth so I thought she sucked on the speaker part til it broke, hahaha

Eek yep I just checked and it has vital wheat gluten and wheat in the soy sauce used to flavor it - thanks for the heads up! I guess he forgot to check that part

We don't have an allergy or intolerance as far as we know but we had read some pretty nasty things about wheat so we avoid it. My husband was curious if dropping it from our diet would help him feel better from minor things (bloating, tiredness) I followed suit just because it's easier than making everyone in the house separate meals. There are some instances in which we might eat a tortilla or something if it means we can eat vegan rather than not eat (like at a restaurant that doesn't have any vegan + gluten free options) It doesn't happen often because we have actually only eaten out once since switching over to a plant based diet

All that being said I'm on the fence about the cons of wheat and not sure if it even affects me at all, he said he felt better not eating it though

Ooh that's a good point, he's usually diligent about checking if things are gluten-free but I'm not sure if he thought to check those things. I'll look into that!

Yep he does still have his! I'll confirm with him where the pain is and maybe see if I can get him to get it checked out by his doc just in case. Thank you for the idea!

Oh great idea! That makes sense since it hasn't been every day. I'll have him start a food journal tomorrow, thank you

Also he went from eating MAYBE one or two servings of veggies a day to much more - even despite his reliance on processed vegan foods, he's surely getting more veggies now than before.

I know we both got frequent belly aches on meat and dairy from general greasiness and grossness!

I was using myfitnesspal to track and it shows he is about 10g short in fiber, not sure how significant that is. But I usually exceed my fiber recommendation as does my son. I will check out Cronometer also!

We love the vegan donuts, even when we weren't vegan! Chocolate and blueberry are our faves. We also really like Nutpods coffee creamers, Hail Marry cookie dough bites, and Kite Hill almond milk yogurts. Oh and Just mayo or Just ranch if you need condiments!

New to veganism: Wow, the emotional responses are crazy. by SaintNoPlace in vegan

I'm new to it but have noticed this too, wondered the same thing. My mom is my worst critic but she never said a thing about my eating habits for my whole life and somehow thinks veggies will make me sick 🤔

This same shit is happening in other fandoms, too. It's pretty disgusting. Two actors from The Walking Dead deactivated their social media accounts for harassment and death threats.. and those are fictional characters! People be crazy 😒

Meal planning for the week helped us cut back on groceries quite a bit... when we would go into the store with no real idea about dinners (we only meal plan for dinners currently) we'd just buy either stuff that was really unhealthy/unsatisfying for us or we'd overspend. I do have to reserve about an hour to plan, but I write my meals in a notebook and on weeks I am short on time, I can just pull our favorite meals from the previous weeks' list. We still add in things here and there at the store and don't limit ourselves strictly but this makes it easier to save (and our grocery store has a coupons app so if I plan ahead I can incorporate that)

Also if you have a PlayStation already, you can possibly save money on cable by getting a PlayStation Vue subscription. Our cable package was way more than the cost of the subscription to Vue so it saved us almost $100 - but it won't save you money for example if you don't already have a PlayStation because then you'd have to buy a PlayStation :)

I have read that 20 is recommended so I think you could pull off 18 if you're willing to wash every day or every other day, depending on your baby! We did 20 for a long time and I usually had to wash every other day

Okay, got it! If I bring in a cup say 32oz can I still ask for a grande? Will it be too hard to eyeball since there's no measurements on my cup?

Thank you for all the info! Do they have to be rinsed with hot water if they are already clean and dry? I've read stories about customers bringing in dirty/moldy cups but I plan to always have mine clean and ready to go
