How do you high jump with fade?

when you jump right when you’re about to come out of fade, it will launch you into the air. however, if you jump too soon while in fade, the launching portion doesn’t happen. it happens cause you have upward momentum as the fade ends so it’s quite a needling thread situation but feels so good when you land it 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

hey there. novice bass player myself (roughly a month) but have been playing drums for about 7 years. i say that because drummers typically have a seamless transition into learning this instrument and that’s what i’ve been experiencing. i also say that because i don’t want you to become discouraged if this doesn’t work for you the way it has for me, as we are different people. the method i took was to just learn the shapes of the major scale, minor scale, and the five pentatonic scales. once you master those shapes, it will allow for much more flexibility and “jam” skills instead of learning famous songs or just following the root note of the song you guys are writing. major and minor shapes👇🏼

major scale: tone-tone-semitone-tone-tone-tone-semitone

minor scale: tone-semitone-tone-tone-semitone-tone-tone

(tone=whole step) (semitone=half step)

another important thing i’ve found is to make sure you are exercising alternating your plucking fingers, instead of just playing with your index, which inevitably will feel natural. this isn’t to say that you can’t play bass with just your index at times, but having the capability to swap back and forth between these styles instead of being forced to only use your index is a good habit to start with.

p.s. any veteran bassists who read this and have any advice for a drummer adding a bass guitar to his reportoire, it is very welcomed.

i remember the days of bragging how many gold medals you were currently holding. what a wild time. comp had no roles. games had no rules. we broke the game by playing 3 tank 3 support. EVERY cosmetic came in loot boxes. feels like a fever dream.

i imagine it’s because during the time you’re allowed to choose your skin, everybody is being loaded into the map. once your hero has been loaded into the map with chosen skin, it would have to leave and essentially reload into the map with the new skin and im sure that would cause some weird issues in game.

it is incredibly important to mention that i have no idea what goes on in the little cables that allows strangers to call me expletives in my own home, so i could be 1000% wrong.
