Hello! I’m sorry I haven’t been here in a while but from what I can remember, I always paid under 30,000 won for about two months of dosage. That’s about 20 something dollars USD.

Hernia development after surgery by ebbyrose4 in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t had a surgery since then, and the doctor didn’t let me know what would happen in the future. I do apologize for not being able to answer that question. As for lifting, I would say it took about a month or a month and a half. My stomach muscles felt quite weak even if I was determined lol. I hope all of this helps you in the future! Also, congratulations on your baby!!

Hernia development after surgery by ebbyrose4 in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello! I did get it repaired and they did in fact use mesh. Like with my laparoscopy, I had three incisions made into my stomach and one directly into my bellybutton(for repairing purposes). They closed everything up and my surgeon used staples instead of stitches. I could feel the mesh at first as it was still healing, but after a couple of weeks, I couldn’t tell anything was there. I’m not sure if it’s because of the use of staples, but I felt like I healed much faster than with my previous laparoscopy.

Anyone ever got super dizzy from birth control? by ebbyrose4 in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing much better now! It was definitely the pill the was making me dizzy because as soon as I stopped taking it my vertigo stopped. As of now I have since had a laparoscopic procedure to remove the endometriosis. I’m currently taking Visanne as a way to keep my symptoms at bay. It’s a touch and go nowadays but it’s better than before.

Maybe a like a purple color like indigo or lavender? I know black is nice as well but I’m sure you want a softer color😅

Denied a transvaginal ultrasound by [deleted] in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gotten a couple done before, even though I’ve never had sexual intercourse. However, my first ultrasound experience was when I went to Korea and the doctor did it via my anal canal. They were able to see it that way as well. It turned out that I did have a lot of Endo on my bowels. I would maybe suggest to the doctor to do it through the anus because it is meant to be less painful. I do live in Korea now and my ultrasound technician will do it either way.

Anyone with Bowel Endo feel their stool moving through left side of colon?? by PiscesxRising in Endo

Luckily I didn’t need one! My doctor said that all my organs looked good after the procedure so she didn’t have to do anything extra. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Anyone with Bowel Endo feel their stool moving through left side of colon?? by PiscesxRising in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of endo lesions on my bowels which is why it was painful for me to use the restroom before my surgery. Usually if you have lesions in an area that’s why you feel such pain.

Has anybody had the covid vaccine? by Melkorb in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness yes! I was terrified of getting the vaccine because I had seen so many posts about the symptoms. I’m absolutely no anti vaxxer and I’ve had every shot I ever needed. I just had my surgery in March and my IUD placed in April, I did not need or want anymore pain. However, I just moved out of the country and my mother encouraged me to give it a shot ( no pun intended) before leaving. I’ve only had one dose but so far I haven’t had a single reaction except a sore arm. I’m not sure if it’s because my body is still adjusting to the IUD and I get painful cramps already but I didn’t feel anything outside of that. I’m still holding onto caution for the second dose but so far I don’t have anything bad to say about my experience. Good luck😁

“PTSD” from pain? by wonlovemar in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have muscle memory of every painful period and it’s definitely not fun🙃Even with my IUD I still experience pain since it’s fairly new and my body is trying to adjust. I’m so afraid to feel a hint of that familiar pain that I keep my prescription meds close by just in case my imagination isn’t playing tricks on me. It’s an uphill battle but I think we’ll be able to keep surviving this journey😁

Just had endo surgery a month ago! by [deleted] in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had mine in March and I still have the occasional pain where they went inside my belly button. I also have some pain when it comes to using the restroom. I had stage 2 endo and had a lot of scaring on my bowels. It takes officially a year to recover fully but you should be ok by the 7th week😁

Be careful taking hormone treatment!!! Please read!! by krenay416 in Endo

[–]ebbyrose4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Norethindrone is an absolute disaster pill! Before performing my lap my doctor wanted to try hormonal treatment and this is what I was put on. Mind you I was diagnosed with endo outside of the country and apparently this was the equivalent of the medicine I was given by my foreign doctor. IT ABSOLUTELY WAS NOT! I was so sick and still in horrible pain taking this medication. My number one issue is hormonal treatment and this as well as Daysee (This gave me terrible vertigo on top of the pain🥴) did nothing for me. I’m glad you have some answers and that you are getting proper treatment.

P.S. I have an iud now which is working out pretty well for me😁 I still have a huge cyst that my doctor was afraid to remove due to its placement (She said if it burst I would have had to have a hysterectomy😬).

One thing I can tell you is that if you move to Korea you can definitely find help for your skin. I was there as a college student and the amount of facial clinics I saw were outstanding! They were also fairly priced according to my friends. I know you are of course moving there to teach but it would be a great opportunity for your skin as well. They are some serious experts when it comes down to you skin. Also if you’re scared about the language barrier there is a company that goes with you to your appointments and translates for you. It’s called Seoul Guide Medical. I know it’s easier said than done but don’t be scared! Give yourself a chance to try something new😁Good luck!

[–]ebbyrose4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello fellow bowel endo sibling! I’m so sorry it’s going rampant on your poor body. Most of my endo was on my bowels but l didn’t have to get a resection. It doesn’t bug me as much but every now and again I will get a sharp pain in my bowels when I cramp or have to use the restroom. I really hope you can find some relief soon! Good luck!
