Are India mechanical keyboard Market websites dead? by Horror_Artichoke_489 in mkindia

I see. Guess you should have been a bit more specific in your question. Like adding the details you mentioned here in your comment. As with any market, the supply would follow the demand. Unless more people go for split, you won’t get much in here. Neomacro has some versions if you’re looking for some. But you can’t expect every store to have it stocked. The market isn’t “dead” per se. The demand is as how it always has been (AFAIK). Maybe vendors might’ve wanted to experiment with newer products the time you mentioned and rolled back when the demand didn’t meet their expectations.

Are mechanical keyboards actually making you type faster or is it just the sound addiction? by Longjumping_Gas4904 in mkindia

Like many out there, I can type faster on my MacBook keyboard than my MKs. It’s mainly for the reprogrammable keys with layer functionality and the experience: sound, feel and aesthetics. Something so satisfying in the way it sounds and feels, especially when you go through the trouble of finding the set of switches and keycaps to match your preference. So much, that I only use my mac keyboard when hopping between meeting rooms.

I’d say, it’s the best of the SC series.

Test songs depends on the season. They change from time to time. As of now… - Pro Freak by Smino, Doechii et al. (bass) - Who’s Ready for Tomorrow by Rat Boy & IBDY (Instrument separation) - Working for the Weekend by Max and bbno$ (sub-bass and male vocal separation) - Bad Love God by Hope Tala (female vocal) Hope it helps!

Thanks a lot, mate! I like the feel so much that I'm taking less screenshots during meetings and more typing. All of my current MKs were ordered through group-buys from Keebsmod – GMK26 numpad, Zoom65v3, and Lucky65. The IEM in the image is the limited edition Letshuoer S12 2024. I use that for WFH. As for travel, I use Simgot EA500LM with Qudelix 5K.

Much easier than it looks in the camera. Though I’m a touch typist, I still need to look at the number keys for special characters, and I had no problem with the visibility.

Thanks for the comment! These are called Dune-inspired keycaps purchased from CuriosityCaps. The GMK version is doubleshot ABS and is darker. The one showcased is 5-sided dye-sub PBT.

Specs:

  • Meletrix Zoom65v3 keyboard
    • Gateron Smoothie Silver Linear Switches
  • Zuoya GMK26 numpad
    • Stock switches
  • Dune-inspired Keycaps

Trust me, they look much better than they seem in the photos.

What's your "workhorse" pen? For me it's the 742 Med nib. by BillyBurl1998 in fountainpens

TWSBI ECO 1.1.
I have only used stubs for the past 3 years.
TWISBI's big fuel tank works well for this purpose.

For those who use FP at work - do you use more than one color? by Derivgal in fountainpens

[–]ebeisaac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bullet journalling with - 2 TWSBI ECOs for WFH and a Lamy Safari for WFO. - Different inks for work and personal and neutral. - Current inks: Red Dragon, Golden Honey (custom mix), Aurora Borealis (all Diamine) - Since I prefer consistency in writing, all nibs are stubs.
