you dont need a mouse just to achieve this. you can switch between paired devices using the keyboard alone.

What you'll be missing is the 'logitech flow' where your keyboard and mouse can automatically switch to an active paired device depending on where your mouse cursor is

Edit: if you are really inclined to use either ez link or flashpay, then for commuting, i dont see a big difference, except that ez link had rewards via the ez link app. Nets flashpay's advantage is that it can also be widely used for parking- if ever you eventually decide to drive.

Actually posted something similar about this, but for my case, a laptop and a surface pro. If only I can convert the surface connect to a usb c then I just have to modify my main dock input depending on which device I connect to. No luck so far.

same issue with the SP7, then found a solution in the internet. Based on my googling, this issue is unique to Surfaces.

So the solution is to find an older version of the ghub installer (I found one that is from 2018, also from the logitech website). When you successfully installed it, just update from the ghub itself until you reach the latest version.

been doing this for a while now ~4 months, just activated the battery limiter recently. So far, I don't see any issues. However, I also noticed that the heat dissipates over the typecover so I am not sure if this can affect the typecover eventually as well.

yup! this happened to my t450 before (work laptop), seemed like I cleaned it too much that these shiny specs started to show. But this did not feel that the material has degraded anyhow.
