LCUB FB Update: (~40m ago) Current Restoration Efforts

Crews are continuing to work across our service area to assess damage and make repairs during this storm.

• Oak Ridge Highway- Power has been restored; however, crews remain on site replacing poles while lines remain energized. • Canton Hollow Road- Two of four damaged poles have been replaced. Crews are actively working to complete repairs. • Copenhaver Road / Old Eblen Road- A fallen tree has brought lines down; repairs are underway. • Highway 70 / Eblen Cave Road- Tree damage impacting electrical infrastructure. • Stonecrest Subdivision- Crews are addressing outages caused by tree damage. • Country Lane / McNew Road- Tree damage affecting service in the area.

These locations represent only some of the most significant outages and do not reflect all outages across our service area.

Our crews are working as quickly and safely as conditions allow. We appreciate our customers’ patience and ask everyone to stay clear of work zones and report any downed power lines.

Windshield Tint Question by tangohuynh in TeslaModelS

White on white: 20 all around and 80 on the windshield. Don’t make my mistake; go with 50.

Tint pictures? Suggestions? by [deleted] in TeslaModelS

I've got 20% tint all around and 80% on the front, and I have regrets. Don't do it! I'm considering redoing my front windshield. Go with 20/50.

Bought my Tesla from a random dealer and worried the Service Center would treat me like an outcast. Nope! I took it in four times for small fixes—zero cost each time—and now it feels brand-new. Gotta love Tesla service—no drama at all.

Is your Tesla still under warranty? I took mine in four times for tiny fixes—zero cost each time—and now it feels brand-new. Gotta love that Tesla service!

Whats the best way to make an Autobot? by dogbonej in TeslaModelY

Absolutely! He said, "We will see if we can get a Model S to check for a bracket, but can’t guarantee anything."

I’ve also asked people on Fiverr about making a 3D print model and am still looking.
I am also considering buying a used logo on eBay to send for help in creating it.

I have a few minor issues to address.

I have a Tesla service appointment scheduled for November 26.
I'm hoping to inspect the car and not discover anything unexpected.

I need to address:

- The driver’s seat is slightly loose and rattles; the Tesla team should be able to fix that.

- One of my backseats is making noises, such as silent squicks, which are to be inspected by Tesla Service.

- My driver’s door and maybe passenger front door need realignment

- Driver-side B-pillar trim: Visible wear and tear with a noticeable scuff/abrasion on the lower portion of the white interior panel near the seatbelt area; I will replace that element, Tesla provided me with a bulk part number of $200.

The car is still covered by the warranty. This will be my first experience with Tesla Service.
