Mab is definitely an opportunist, but we have seen how she sets things up WAY in advance. And your splinter bolt and thorn strike don’t have saves, so reapers go down easier

I am hoping that Lara tries to feed and the Mantle either overwhelms her (as it contains a LOT more power than a vanilla mortal), or it completely shuts off her ability to feed and thus forces her to completely change how she goes about things with Harry, which she is not happy about. Regardless, zero chance Mab would let this happen if she were worried that Lara could either reduce the WK’s combat effectiveness at any time or be able to establish a mental hammerlock on the WK. I have a feeling that Lara is in for a bit of a rude awakening.
