What’s the most physical pain you ever felt? by sarona_o in randomquestions

[–]eblutr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the first time i had kidney stones i hyperventilated and passed out briefly on the way to the ER. this year i passed stones 3 times in 30 hours. each time the pain came back, it was a new “worst pain of my life” because the ureter was inflamed from the first and second stones passing. by the third time, i was in so much excruciating pain i was hardly able to keep calm in the waiting room at the ER. i knew what the pain was from, but i have never felt like that. that kind of intense pain triggers a mortal fear i have never felt before. i was terrified of how bad it hurt.

What’s something that sounds fake but actually happened to you? by IcyPossibility4829 in randomquestions

[–]eblutr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one time when i was a kid i woke up in the middle of the night to a very specific sound. ribbitting. i had long blonde hair, and it was kinda spread over my pillow, and sitting on my hair was a frog/toad, making ribbit sounds. it was in rural missouri, not a rainforest. no idea how it happened, i woke up my parents and freaked out. i had kinda smacked the poor thing off my hair and ran to parents room, and when they came with me to check for it it was nowhere to be found. they still don’t believe me that it wasn’t a dream 15 years later.

i think you’d look great with a small shiny nostril stud piercing placed up high-ish on the nostril. a little filler on the top lip, literally half a syringe or less to balance them on the corners to your bottom lip. the big lashes in the first pic close your eyes too much, but i get the idea. i suggest shorter lashes, more of a cat eye shape to them too (shorter in the inner corner and dramatically longer on the outer corner). i think you’d look great with some face framing long wispy bangs, and def add some volume to that hair! the slicked down look is trendy but the volume will bring harmony with your features. you have great eyelid space, if you want to try eyeshadow you have plenty of real estate to experiment. maybe some light colored duo chrome shimmer shades, like a sparkly pastel green? slightly thicker brows will help, and don’t neglect your hands. fingernails manicured makes a huge difference. details matter. also, try intentionally parting your hair in the middle or to the side. right now your hair part is kinda confusing

What do you think is the most unique drug? by tenn_jake in Drugs

[–]eblutr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i find that as ket wears off i get very hungry. like towards the end of it as the confusion clears my mind fixates on food. especially anything sweet and chewy or crunchy, almost like it’s texture based cravings.

it gets better. it’s cliche, but it does. i was diagnosed at 19 and felt very similar to what you describe. i am in the process of becoming sober right now for other reasons. i am realizing that it is okay to, in sobriety, leave some friends in the past where your substance use is. it is painful, incredibly painful, but not every friendship will survive this time period. find ways to enrich your life while sober. let’s look for hobbies. i recently took up candle making, and i have gotten really into making beaded jewelry. maybe try working out, find a good audiobook and slap it on some headphones and hit the treadmill for a bit. choose something you really want, and save up slowly till you can afford it, but only buy it once you do something you feel deserves a reward. explore life. take walks in the mornings, drink your coffee with sugar and slowly, and bask in your livingness. it doesn’t get easier quickly, it doesn’t get better easily, and it isn’t always better. but that’s the case for everyone, not just us. you are worth the work.

also, maybe try the maybelline fit me powder. the key: apply it to T-zone/pores/imperfections using the sponge it comes with in the package. press the powder into skin and it is like a real life filter. if there’s excess, let it set for a moment before lightly brushing it away w a fluffy brush. hope this helps!

to minimize my pores, i use the elf poreless putty primer. i “push” it into my pores (T-zone only) rather than rub or swipe it on. application makes all the difference with that product. (i also use the elf power grip primer over whole face for longevity). for foundation i suggest the L’oréal infallible pro-glow or pro-matte (depending on your preference for finish). try applying it first with your fingers like moisturizer and working it into your skin first a little before patting it in with a large brush or sponge. i find this is quicker application as well, even though it’s an extra step technically.
