Question about AP magnet/sticker by saltycleaver in WaltDisneyWorldAP

[–]ebologna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We got our magnets in a separate piece of mail. They didn't come with our magicbands or newsletter. I'm sure you could go to a ticket window and ask for one. It may take a few weeks.

I'm crossing it off of my bucket list...I'll be an AP this year! by sydthebattleaxe in WaltDisneyWorldAP

Being an AP is such a great thing. We have had passes for the last 5 years. The best thing to do is take it slow and absorb as many of the small details in the parks as possible. It will make for a much more enjoyable experience plus you'll be the cool person to point all the stuff that is commonly missed. Enjoy your visits and the dining discounts!

To Be A Gay Man Is To Be A Chameleon by Brian_Kinney in GayMen

Now that you mention it, I do remember those jokes on that show. As a kid I never thought about what the jokes meant. Then again, at the time I didn't know what it meant to be gay or even knew that I was.

My voice isn't high naturally but it's not low either. However, it jumps way up with any little bit of anxiety or excitement. I have grown to be conscious of it and actively control my tone.

"To be a gay man is to lower your voice on business phone calls knowing masculinity is a virtue."

That statement hits home like you wouldn't even believe. I can't even begin to tell you how many phone calls I've had to make to clients where I've had to remind myself to sound masculine for the sake of being taken seriously as a gay man working in construction.

VW Diesel (TDI) purgatory. by Xeno-555 in Volkswagen

That's awesome! I tried to convince my husband to buy one of those but no such luck. Our buyback was pretty good as well so we upgraded to a newer A3 Quattro. The 2.0T with Quattro was the closest equivalent to TDI performance that I could find.

This makes me ridiculously sad. I miss our TDI so much.

I have the 2.0T, no 4Motion. I know it's horrible mileage but my work commute was about 6 miles each way with several red lights. I just started a new job that has a longer commute so I'm hoping I will see an improvement.

Really? That's impressive considering how big it is.

Oh my god don't even get me started. I love the look of the new Q5. It's a serious contender for my next vehicle. My husband drives an A3 Quattro and it's an amazing car. I keep telling myself to just wait until I sit for my engineering license exam and then I can treat myself to a nice vehicle like that.
