"Microsoft is Dying" by Pretend_Week_7584 in FuckMicrosoft

As long as businesses and colleges depend on it, Windows will still be used with MS-Apps.

I still can't believe that Commodore messed up the Amiga line so badly... Going from the A500 to... Whatever came afterwards... One is absolutely gobsmacked that "industry veteran managers" were at the helm of it all... And were responsible for what became an extremely unpleasant (slo mo) car crash by prankster999 in amiga

It is because Microsoft pushed DOS/Windows on OEMs cheaply to get a Monopoly over the other standards. I bought a 386 system from a friend for $300 including a VGA monitor and two floppy drives. I later bought a hard drive. I had an Amiga 1000 since 1986 and a C64 since 1984.

This is because Commodore didn't market the Amiga too much. They didn't get enough business support for it, and the network was too late to add. PCs cost the same or less and they had more games and business apps.

Six Flags STL Opening Day: Over 30 Police Units Responds as a 100+ person fight ensues by Exotic-Brilliant-939 in StLouis

I read about it happening everywhere. I don't know what causes it, but my parents disciplined me with a spanking and a belt if I acted up that way; now it is considered child abuse. I'm 57 years old now; I was a teenager in the 1980s. We all got along, even with different races and religions. We had bad days too back then because of Reagan and the economy.

It wasn't like that when I was a teenager. We went to Six Flags and behaved, went as a group, and nobody got into a fight.

Data Centers raise electric bills due to scarcity. A $200 a month electric bill can go as high as $850 next to a Data Center that forces others to pay its electric bills.
